Show me your 1ctw diamond studs!

Hi everyone,

I currently have a pair of loose diamonds (0.48ct and 0.49ct, both EGL graded Ideal cut, I color, SI2) that I'll be taking to a custom jeweler this weekend.

I'm torn between setting these in:
A) Dainty bezels settings (similar to Brian Gavin's handmade bezels http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/diamond-earrings/studs/handmade-bezel-studs-5409)
B) Three-prong martini settings
or
C) Four-prong "regular" settings

Would love some input from the PS community! Also, I'd love to see pictures of your diamond studs for inspiration!

Hi - depends what sits best on your ears. I have 1.84 ctw studs and they are set in a six prong setting, the base is flat, they sit on my ear nicely, similar to a martini setting. Chat with the jeweler. You can't go wrong with a standard 4 prong basket style setting.
