Show me your accessories for the big day! (hair, necklace, earrings, bracelet)

I am wondering if you could all show me/tell me what accessories you are wearing with your gowns. I don''t want to be covered with jewelry.
I am thinking I really want to wear some pins in my hair, but don''t know if a necklace and earrings along with that will be too much.

How many pieces are you all planning on wearing? Are chandelier earrings and a big hairpiece too much?

Originally, I was thinking of wearing a bracelet and dangling earrings along with some kind of flower/hair jewelry but in the end, I only wore pearl stud earrings and a flower/birdcage veil. I had a lot of texture (lace/tulle) on my dress and didn't want to overwhelm my look with 'stuff'. I'm also a fan of a bare neck with strapless gowns so no necklace for me, either.

Can we see a photo of your dress?

ETA: Found it and it's gorgeous!

Do you know how you're wearing your hair? I think that would help determine some of your other accessories (ie. Don't think I would wear chandelier earrings with long hair.)

Oh OK. I was just about to post the picture. well, I do have long hair and I was thinking about wearing something like this in my hair. I''m also wearing my hair down. Is it too much to wear a necklace too? I was thinking I can do this hair pin or chandelier earrings but not both.

CDN - Very simple and elegent. I like the birdcage, and really want to wear one, but my finace doesn''t like it. (and I do want to look pretty for him)

I kind of want to wear pearls since my dress has pearls attatched to it.

My personal preference would be to do the hair piece and earrings (either chandelier, dangle, or drop) and skip the necklace. You can always do a bracelet to compliment the earrings instead if you want another piece.

ETA: if you like pearls, I think some pearl drop/dangle earrings would look fabulous! Let me see if I can find a photo of what I have in mind....

I found them here BUT I just used this site to illustrate the look I was talking about. Those specific earrings (off that site) are $$$ and you can most definitely find the same look for a much better price.

I went all-out. I love jewelry and wouldn''t have it any other way.

Earrings - about 2" bezel graduated CZs from Overstock for about $50
Necklace - 0.5 J/SI1 bezel ACA from WF, $1250 (graduation present from the previous year)
Bracelet - On my right hand. Swarovski crystal tennis bracelet with S-shaped silver bars between each stone. Christmas gift from brother, but he got it at TJ Maxx, so it couldn''t have been more than $25-50.
And of course my engagement ring!

I am planning on wearing a tiara, my e-ring and a necklace to match my e-ring (haloed-princess pendant)

But nothing is set in stone, and I can''t give you pics sorry!

Happydreams, if you want to wear a hairpiece, IMO a simple earring is the way to go.

Simple veil (goes to the back of my knees- don''t know if there''s a technical name for it), pearl necklace, pearl drop earrings... when the veil comes off, I''ll stick a flower pin in my hair.
