We're going to do this type of centerpiece with 3 votives around it and wtih the roses in deep red and burnt orange. I figure these will be pretty and not cumbersome and will be something that someone will take home with them since the vase is very reusable. I'd also like to have some scattered rose petals around the centerpieces

We''re doing small-ish and low. This is just for size representation (though ours will have pale green hydrangea along with other flowers...the new arrangements haven''t been discussed yet). Around it, we''ll place 4 or 5 small votives.

Can''t find a photo of exactly what I''m thinking right now,
but a hurricane lamp over a taper or pillar candle, on circular mirror with 3-4 votives around it.

Depending on pricing we may do a fresh floral/herb ring around the hurricane bottom, or scatter some rose petals.

Someone here posted a website www.cudge.net that has fabulous candle prices (72 votives and holders for 35 bucks or so)

And I found the mirrors online at saveon crafts for very cheap too.

We''re doing this, but with ivory ariana roses instead. My florist has already done a trial and it looks great!

I thought of doing something tall, but ended up with shorter centerpieces. i thought it worked better with the size of the room. There were 3 small silver candlesticks with red rose topiaries....

Our venue gives us hurricane globes, white candles for them and a square mirror to put them on. We''ll probably tie a ribbon around the hurricane globe and sprinkle red rose petals around it. Here''s a pic of it set up for someone else''s wedding. We won''t have any greenery:
