I have been seeing a lot of people come here with budgets lately. I think a lot of newbies on her dont know exactly what they can get for the price. I picked 5k becuase well, its a round number and it allows me to fit mine in

but please, anyone on a tighter budget of less than 5k (still a lot, but we are talking PS standards here ) please post your rings, and the cost (if its new, approx appraisal if its an oldie), you can give a range if youd rather. But I just want the people coming in to see that a budget doesnt mean you have to skimp on the fabulous

Mine probably should have cost less than 5k, but my DH unfortunately waaay overpaid at a mall store. Ah well.

My sapphire engagement ring was under $3k eleven years (and Pre-Pricescope) ago. It would still cost under $5k to make today.

I just want to say that this is the BEST idea for a thread; I've placed a $5,000 limit on the ring although SO would go higher if need be. I just can't bring myself to go above that. All of the rings are absolutely GORGEOUS!!! Keep 'em coming!

Love this idea! Perfect to show that even on a budget you can have a beautiful, high quality ring.
Mine isn't my original ering, it's my new/upgrade.
I had always wanted either an EC or asscher and had found the ec band prior to finding the stone for my solitaire.
I love my set & really can't ever imagine upgrading, of course I can imagine buying additional diamonds (AVC is next,yum)and setting them in multiple rings
EC was just under $3k and is 1.11ct K color VVS1. Setting is Sholdt 18k WG. grand total $4400.

My setting is only 14k WG, so it wasnt bad. They dont have it on there sight anymore, but they have a unbezeled plain shank halo on there thats about 1500

All of these are fabulous! I want more. There has been some more recently over at rocky talkly. I think i might bring some over
