This is one of my goal pieces. I absolutely adore the engraving style.
I'll begin. This is my hand made, antique, platinum setting with wheat style engraving on the shank and milgrain around the bezel.
This ring is incredibly delicate. The halo is a fraction of a millimeter thick. The shank is only 1.2mm thick. And yet because of the antique alloy and fabrication methods, the ring is so strong. The engraving is in near perfect condition, despite the age. It is really quite amazing.

Your solitaire (and its engraving) is one of my top 5 rings on PS. I love it so much

Looks like i not only like milgrain, I like engraving too.BEAUTIFUL PIECES, EVERYONE!!!
Stills I took (and enlarged) for @Strawberries1 by request of my ER.
My WR was custom to match the engraving & milgrain.

So simple and stunning.
If you've already thought of this- I apologize
If you are looking for something 'different' in the engraving aspect-
Don't limit yourself to looking at rings - search for lockets / cufflinks as well.
That's where I found my inspiration:

You ring will be gorgeous either way you choose-
Heck- wear it polished smooth for a while, you can always send it back when you are certain!
