Show me your Halo e-ring to fit flush with wedding ring?

Hiya

So after months of me obsessively looking at PS and pinterest, my partner and I have started the ball rolling, (woohoo!) found our perfect jeweller locally here in West Australia, I have finally worked out what it is I'm after, only trouble is I only vaguely know and needing inspiration from you lovely ladies!

We have decided on a RB 1 carat light champagne diamond (I DIED when she brought it out it's the prettiest thing I've seen) with white diamond halo and plain shank, and designed to fit snug with a wedding band, the halo in WG and band in YG, although not 100% convinced on WG surrounding the champagne diamond :S I love a really tight, petite halo with not much metal showing (not too sure what this style of pave is called yet).

Also do you think AUD$6k is a good price for a ring like this? We got a "mates rates" discount, it's just hard to gauge because I haven't seen many champagne diamonds online or in real life, and I haven't seen any as pretty and delicately coloured as I was shown, had a pink hue to it

I need to choose some pictures to take back to my jeweller so if you have any side profile shots of a halo designed for a flush fit please share! Also weighing up pros and cons of bezel/prong set as I am quite clumsy and not sure if prongs will survive long , if you have any thoughts let me know!

To be honest I'm worried how obsessed I will get with planning the wedding if all I have done for the past 4 months is drool over rocks! Haha!

Sareen made the setting and the diamond bands & ERD made the sapphire bands. I sent him my diamond bands and he made them exactly the same size so I would be able to wear them with my engagement ring.

I love the first setting's profile! Do you want the ering to be made so that a straight band will sit flush, or are you okay with a curved band, as long as it accommodates the ering?

I was wanting a straight fit

and dear La_Bougette, I hope you get the ring of your dreams. I'm designing mine to sit flush too! there are quite a few designs that you can go for (especially if single shank), and PSers have the best ones!

How many carats is your ring? Mine is 1carat & I can't see the bottom part of the ring...
