Hi ladies! I am having the below ring made with sapphire accents. I want to pair it with 2 stackers, but with it being low on the finger, I'm not certain how it's going to look. I was thinking 1 in front 1 in back.. but not 100 %. So.. show me yours!!

I would think that would be very difficult to stack?

+1. Doubt you'll have any finger room left.

ETA: You can see mine in my avatar. It's an 8.2mm OEC with 1 pointers in the halo.

Yeah, not sure you'll have enough room to put bands on either side…what is your ring size? If you have a lot of space between your hand and the first knuckle, you might be able to do it. I love that setting btw!

My ring is set low and has a wide base, I wear a thin eternity band with it (2 mm) - my ering measures about 12 mm across and my ring size is 4.25.

Damn it! I better at least be able to fit a single thin band with it. Should I have it made somehow that it's raised up a bit? *sigh*

My stone is a 6.8 × 6.76 × 4mm round OEC. Finger size a 6 or 7. This is my current ring which my fingers are now too fat for

Pretty stone and ring! Since the setting you are getting has the space between the diamond and halo, you're going to have a nice amount of finger coverage, which IMO is a good thing lol! I don't see any reason why you couldn't wear one band, you will just have a gap like mine. You could inquire about having the base of your ring made smaller so that bands will fit next to it more snuggly, but I'm not sure how much the design of the ring can be changed or if it's possible. Doesn't hurt to ask though!

I personally love the space (like Junebugs ring). Your halo is more ornate than most have. You may find that you like wearing the ring solo. Your new ring is going to be gorgeous! I can't wait to see it on your finger.

I love the space too.. which is why I'm HOPING that since I have long fingers, that I can fit 2 small stacker bands.. if not, one will have to do. In the hand shot, it definitely looks like you could get a thin vintage style stacker. I sent the email tonight that I wanted to move forward. I know it can take 2-3 wks.. but I'm hoping it's more twords the 2 wk mark lol. Do you think I should ask to be sent the wax, just to kinda get the feel for it? Not sure how long doing that would hold up the process.

UGH I'm probably just over thinking this since it's not something I can try on first.

Antique Lover, Having a ring custom made is always nerve wracking. There have been a few halos similar to yours on Pricescope. Redwood66 I believe has a similar ring. She wears hers as an engagement ring. Jewels by Grace also has a setting called the Caroline Halo that also is somewhat similar. I have had a ring custom made and was a wreck waiting for the ring to be completed.

Here is mine with a 2mm band, lately I have just been wearing my ering without a band.

I agree that having a small space can be lovely. It allows each ring to be defined on its own yet still adding to the beauty of each. Win win IMO. I also think it would look lovely on its own. I really love your new ring. So gorgeous. That's the kind of halo I can even see myself wearing and I am not a halo girl so much. Yours is changing my mind!

Your new ring is so elegant! I love your idea to have 2 stacker bands. Will they have sapphires, also? Having a gap between your rings can be beautiful, too. But if it might bother you, perhaps the bands could be made to wrap around your ring, or even a notch put under the basket for them to fit into so they sit flush with your ring.

First off, your ring is absolutely stunning! That's a beautiful halo -- I love the distinctive shape and the airline and the milgrained bezel around your center stone! :appl:

Personally, I love a big ole gap between e-ring and band(s)! I think it looks elegant and effortless. I have a low-set halo antique ring and it's a bit large (my finger is a size 3.5 but the ring is a 4.0) so this might not be the best example for you -- the extra room in the ring sort of "makes up" for the gap. It moves up and down my finger easily, which closes the gap between it and any bands next to it. (not great since the metal/stones rub against each other) If my halo ring were properly sized at 3.5, then the gap would be more consistently pronounced and there would be no rubbing.

It's cold out right now, so my halo ring is extra loose. (I manually spaced it in these pictures so you can see what it'd look like IF the halo were sized properly). Hope this all makes sense!!

I LOVE the look of these larger halos with ONE band beneath - absolutely yummy perfection! You mentioned a band on either side - I don't think I would like that as much.
