In just TWO MORE DAYS (eeek!) it will be my Big 5-0 & I will finally get my grubby little mitts on that coveted Rolex
My question is: those who stack bracelets with luxury watches, do you worry about scratching, or do you live & let live?
Calling @Octave @Kaycee2018 @Natylad You guys are stackers. Do you get bothered by scratching? I recall in another thread @Tonks loving the look of your bracelets stacked with your Rolex but hating the idea of damage…..
Thoughts? Because I’m a stacker & have never given a thought to my SS Raymond Weil getting scratched. Even after 20 years of SOLID wear, it looks as good as new
I literally asked my SA at the local Rolex AD the other day how bad it would be to stack.
He shook his head and told me he wasn’t even going to answer such a dumb question.
I tried it the other day with a couple of VCA Alhambra bracelets but for me it’s just not going to happen to stack a watch and bracelet. My bracelets usually go on the right arm, which is bigger. So they are looser on the left which means they bang the hell out of a watch.
There are plenty of people who do it but it’s a no for me.
However, I do have a watch I rarely wear. I am contemplating making it the sacrificial stacking timepiece if the urge strikes.
