Hi, CareBear! I feel like I haven't seen you in ages!

I am very pleased with King Jewelers who are authorized dealers of many high end brands (I dealt with the Nashville store). I know in November they had gift card sales, and you could use those towards anything but Rolex. I doubt I will ever buy a watch anywhere else! But if you need something before then, I'd call and ask when there next gift card sale is and tell them you won't buy until they are on sale, and perhaps they will offer you a discount.

hi diamondseeker! Thanks for the info! I haven't been active on PS for a while now but I do check the threads every once in a while. The styles of stones and setting have really changed since I last shopped for rings. Now I'm itching for something new

I'm surprised that you suggest buying from Jomashop.com as there are so many complaints listed on the BBB site. Many suggest unfair policies and, inferior products (second hand or damaged watches). The customers are NOT offered anything but a repair.

Not suggesting buying from Jomashop, just suggesting the watches...

Is there a reputable online watch site that any of you have purchased from? So far my diamonds have been purchased online but none of our watches. We usually buy them overseas on vacation but that requires VAT refunds which sometimes don't get processed

Hi baby monster, he's definitely going try a few more on but I just don't think he wants a 5K watch, not something he is really into and he'd rather have 2. We'll go to a few stores in the coming weeks to try on some more, I do think he should look at Cartier as well.

What do you guys think of Hublot watches for men? There has been one I have been eyeing for my hubby.

I got him an IWC last year but while he likes it ... sense that he doesn't love it.

For my daily wearing, I have a round faced Chopard Happy Diamonds with a metal band and a Breitling with a blue pearl face. No pics on my computer at the moment.

This is an inherited Graff that sits in the safety deposit box.

That watch is a looker and the workmanship blows me away. Actual appeal is low for me but it is a fantastic watch and show piece.

I have 2 everyday watches. My Cartier tank and my Rolex. I have a few watches from my mom and MIL that I never wear and I have a Longines watch from my dh's father that I occasionally wear but needs work because of corrosion on the face. I also have a Panerai my dh gave to me years back that I never wear because it is too bulky looking for me. I like its pink leather band though. I have that at the beach house though so no pic.

Yes, if you can haggle like 30%-35% off of MSRP.

b/c their movements aren't up to par with the pricing of their watches,plus they copied AP's Royal Oak design.

Finally managed to take photos of my JLC reverso. I literally have 2 different watches/look in one.
There is a bigger version of this called the squadron - it is also a chronograph. But the reverso sits better on my wrist.

I'm pretty sure that no one will know what this watch is, but I wanted it dearly when I first saw it during a collector's watch show on one of the shopping channels fifteen years ago and I saved the information all this time. I finally got my Chaumet Ladies Aquila in stainless steel and solid 18 K gold.
