Sorry I had to find the camera!! Please excuse my pajama sleeve in the picture!

This is a Cartier Roadster Ladies Edition meaning it is the midsize. Cartier stopped making this watch I believe mid 2012. I really wanted the unisex L or XL version but I know large watches are in right now. I'm hoping this version will stay classic and I can wear it the next 30+ years! Regardless I'm totally in love with it! I have coveted this watch since I saw it in the Hong Kong store in 2007 or 2008!

Nice Roadster, SB621! Great size. That's a classic even if Cartier stopped making them.

Bought a 41mm Yachtmaster, S/S with platinum bezel. I LOVELOVELOVE it! Man sized to be sure. This is my last watch. (except if I win the Lotto...then Lange here I come... )

SB...love the Roadster, too! I cannot understand why on earth Cartier did not continue that watch because it has always been a popular model.

I realized that I don't think we've ever had a luxury watch thread in SMTB! I debated about how to define what a luxury watch is, since there are entry level ones all the way up to very rare and expensive watches! So we'll include the full range here! For the purpose of this thread, we'll say that a retail price/value of $2000 and up will qualify (knowing that true watch aficionados are probably rolling their eyes! ).

This is my new Christmas watch, a Cartier Tank Francaise, midsize (wish the blue hands were showing in the pics!):

And Diamondseeker, you've got such great taste!! I have a Cartier Tank Francaise as well, except it is the small version. I love the timeless look of it, its versatility and how adjustable it is. I bought it with the intent of making it a family heirloom, so I had it engraved "Love," proceeded by my name. I've actually given it to my mother because I have since opted for a love bracelet and didn't want the two to scratch each other, but I still admire it from her wrist. I just love love LOVE that watch, congrats on getting yours for Christmas!!

Thank you, puppy! Gosh, YOU are the one with great taste! I so adore your ring and think the Love bracelet or the TF would be beautiful with it! I am glad you aren't wearing the bracelet with the watch, though! It pains me when I see people do that!

Hey Puppy did you not want to wear your watch and Love on seperate wrists? I know I wear my Love on my right hand and my watch on my left? I actually loved the watch and love stacked but I think that would only work with the Tank since it is a straight edge! Regardless I obviously love your style!

Thanks Diamondseeker and SB621! I'm big fans of you both as well, obviously SB621, my Love is gold and my tank is platinum... I know it is getting more acceptable (and fashionable!) to mix metals, but it just didn't feel right on me. Also, the both of them together felt pretty heavy. I'm right handed, so I put my Love on my left wrist. Writing with the watch on my dominant arm was definitely tiring, so I figured I'd just keep it in the family so I could still enjoy seeing it even though it's not on my arm I must admit, I miss it sometimes but am glad it isn't getting scratched with me. Thank you for the suggestion though, if only I had the tolerance to wear both hahaha
