A simple, 6 prong setting holding my 2.4 ct diamond on size 4.5 ring finger.

Hi Bliss! I'm trying to figure out if I want a band for a simple solitaire. I am considering DK's flower band. Is there any way you could post a photo of your solitaire with just the flower band so I can visualize it? Thanks!!

I’ll add mine! .90 CBI in an inexpensive Stuller rope solitaire setting as a place holder until next anniversary upgrade. :Up_to_something2: 10K rose gold. Size 7.75.

I usually wear it as a RHR, but I will sometimes stack it with my Cartier trinity as a wedding set.

Yes, @Mamabean! She wants a pinky-maroon/blue color change garnet, she thinks (this week, anyway!). :lol:

@Mamabean - so funny that @mrs-b bumped this! My daughter and I went in last week to get this setting sized for her—and they are bringing in two garnets for her to view. She ended up wanting a typical reddish/maroon color. :wavey: Should be finished in a week or two!

Here’s my accidental diamond purchase. OEC, 2.13 L, VS2. I was mesmerized when I saw it.. in my weakest state of mind at 4am when I was incredibly ill and burning from fever. I have set it in size 5 platinum, but it looks too much of an engagement ring to be worn :cry2:

Apologies for the crappy photos. The ring on the box photo is by far the best I’ve managed to capture, but you can see reflection from my camera and box :eek2:

I never added my anniversary ring upgrade to this thread! 1.23 E SI2 CBI from High Performance Diamonds. It is set in their New York Classic solitaire setting (platinum). It’s great to stack with, but I like wearing it as a RHR so that I can view the profile more clearly. :kiss2:

Hi Mamabean! Not sure what you meant by stats, but I’ll attach the cert and links to LAD’s instagram posts for it =)2

I bought it out of blue, not sure if I want to sell or keep it. My boyfriend has made it quite clear it wont my ering, because it was not bought for that purpose... :cry2:

I bought this OEC diamond last year from a pawn broker.

For my birthday this year, the plan was to put her in a fancy setting https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/emerald-ring-a-dumb-idea.253546/ but I was struggling with the thought of spending so much on a setting https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/how-much-is-too-much.251829/

With corona and facing some job uncertainty, I thought why not just set the stone in a simple solitaire so I can at least enjoy it?!? So I looked at the pre-loved section on pricescope, low and behold @Mayk was selling her Erika winters platinum laurel setting and Grace (of jewels by) thought it would be an exact fit!
