Okay. Second confession. @m-2-b very kindly held off on posting these publicly because I was debating buying them. I can't swing it right this moment unfortunately but They Are Next On My List!!! I know the stone and size isn't hugely popular, in the US anyway, but I'm loving absolutely everything about them!! That resin-ey feeling... The size works so well with that pop art look, and this red is soooooooo totally my colour
A humungous THANK YOU to @m-2-b for trying them on and sharing so many photos!! Her pictures of these beauties took me from "kinda, maybe, I think?" to "OMG as soon as humanly possible"

Are these the small version? When I was at VCA trying on the frivole, I asked about RdN and they only had small carnelian but both the earrings and necklace had noticeable brown undertones. This shade is much prettier!
Yes! "Small", snort. Nothing small about 'em. Even the "mini" are big by my definition

I think at this point those are my most often worn earrings! I'm honestly super surprised by how often I reach for them, they're not generic, y'know? You'd think that a style that's that "specific" wouldn't get worn outside of equally "specific" circumstances. But these transcend that rule, for me, in a way that Cosmos don't - the bigger size (even the mini!) is playful, the MOP is casual, the diamonds level up for night wear. It all just kind of works out bizarrely well no matter what. Serioulsy never would have guessed that I'd wear giant flower clips more than classic diamond and pearl studs but here we areLol nothing small at all and completely agree on the mini! I think I had previously mentioned in this thread that I was contemplating the mop RdN earrings you have, but in reality, I think they might be too large for me! However, I still reserve the right to change my mind (especially since I never even got around to trying them on)
And I’m really really glad I skipped the lapis earrings because I *want* the carnelian, in a way I didn’t feel about lapis, and three pairs of the same earring would be total overkill! And a second SO request that I'm still waiting to hear back on...

I think (hope!!) you'll feel that same way about your Frivoles, that they'll turn out to be surprisingly wearable despite the pave!! They're stylized and whimsical so they don't have the seriousness that photorealistic pave flowers would. That helps a lot. White melee in white metal is very stark on me but when I take my own colouring out of the picture that's *always* the combo that I like best!!

- Perlee d'Or bangle. Needs to be MTO in my size. Just gotta quit dragging my feet and put the order in and finish out the stack. I want it, I just have a bug up my backside about taking the money away from other (non VCA) projects
- Carnelian Rose de Noel earrings. Enablement courtesy of @m-2-b
- I've got one SO in the works but I'm scared to talk about it in public until it's all paid down in case it gets snatched away from me somehow
- Contes d'Hiver earrings. I waffle on these. I can think of some occasions they’d be perfect for but they wouldn’t be “generic” at all for me. I think a meaningful price increase would kick them off the list.
- RG GMOP bracelet. I love this piece. It’s exactly my style and colour. But I feel like I’m swimming in rose gold bracelets. Would I ever wear Yet Another One? Ultimately this competes with the Tiffany jumbo HW bracelet and the Tiffany wins.
I want to try the Two Butterfly BTF on. But I have a feeling those rings just won’t look good on my hand, the bigger spacing between the two motifs is kind of unforgiving. Same issue with the Cosmos BTF. If the style does work for me the lapis butterfly jumps up right under the carnelian RdN
Nothing besides the d’Or is happening in 2022 though. Watch this wishlist change twenty times by 2023.
Congratulations on your bangle! Just quoting this one part - it's a magical feeling to finally be able to call the first piece that caught your eye "yours". My moment was bringing the 3-motif YG/onyx/MOP Alhambra earrings home, after years of daydreaming about them. The clover bangle is iconic and timeless, and wearable year-round, you'll be able to enjoy it so often

Reading your different viewpoints helped me decide what was the best thing for me personally. I love the butterfly pin but it was not one of the particular ones that caught my initial attention. I will post them below. If it had been any of the 3, I would have bought it without question. So, I decided to go with the clover bangle since it was the very first VCA piece to catch my attention when I started looking at VCA a few years ago. I know I will wear it often. My SA said she will keep an eye out for another brooch. She always seems to perform the impossible.
RunningwithSicissors, I am with you on loving a fabulous brooch. I think they are so under used now. I only have about 3.5 months of good sweater weather each year so I try to make the most of it by wearing them often during that time.
Yssie, I was able to order the bangle. I already had a deposit on another piece that I had discussed with the SA about maybe switching the deposit to the bangle a month or so ago. She was waiting on me to decide when the butterfly pin became available. Because my SA and I had that discussion already and deposit was enough to cover the 30% requirement for the bangle, I was able to switch it to the bangle. That said, I was told the wait would be a long while which I knew would be the case.

Okay, here are two of my latest acquisitions....just some basic mop pieces to wear in the summer! Both have beautiful iridescence but these pics don't really show it except on the pendant in the second picture. Thanks so much to @m-2-b for her help in examining the pendant for me at the boutique!
