I love this!!!!!

Thank you, Musey! I have to say that I love this watch and wear it everyday (Longines Dolce Vita). This is the medium sized one, not the mini. It has tiny diamonds for the numbers with a mother-of-pearl dial.

Plans for ''09? Hmmmm...Not sure yet! For sure I''m going to have my new tsavorites set. DH surprised me with an early X-Mas pressie! I have ten .15 tsavorites. I think they will be in a bezeled eternity (or almost eternity) band for a fun stacking RHR.

For Mother''s Day I really want three teeny tiny eternity bands. Two white gold with diamonds (for the boys) and one rose gold (for the girl) with light pink sapphires (the color of stones in Tacori''s Tessa ring).

Other plans depend on the economy!
MIRANDA! You got Tsavorites and didn''t tell me?

Fun thread! I enjoy seeing all of your lovely pieces of jewelry.

I made my list for 2008 – and no wonder I am broke right now!I am only listing my favorites from this year.

EW EC garnet ring (for Christmas)

5mm spessartite garnet (exquisite gemstone from Dan Stair) replaced pink sapphire in existing ring

6mm color shift spinel (a beauty from Dan Stair) had mounted in original ering / wring

6mm sapphire mounted on YG diamond semi mount

Two .44 ct diamonds mounted in diamond dangle earrings

New wrings and anniversary band

Wish list for 2009:

They have EC earrings and pendant to match my garnet ring that I’m getting for Christmas

Ruby pendant

Upgrade ruby ring?

Ruby bracelet

Purple sapphire or purple spinel ring – probably in a radiant cut

Green sapphire bracelet (good luck finding that one though)

DS, I love your watch too ! I have been trying to decide on a new watch for ages, but haven't found anything I *really* like. I will have to find one to try on, thanks!

I''ve actually purchased three more Art Carved bands, as I''ve decided to start a collection..but they''re not here yet.

Don''t have anything 100% planned for 2009, but I hope to have an OEC or coloured stone RHR. And will set a spinel that I have in an 18k stacking ring. I''m sure more things will emerge though, lol..

... and the only thing I''m planning for in 2009 is an antiquey band like this one from Circa1930s.com. I''ll be scouring ebay until I find one I love

musey, that''s the ring I was going to buy on Ebay. It has to be the same seller. The ring is identical. They have only "buy it now" prices and the prices are the same as on the circa1930s.com site. I wish we could find those for Ebay prices.

I didn't know they sold on ebay... I don't think I've seen your ring. Do you have a thread?

I'm not too picky about the ring, this is just in the ballpark. I just want one that's white gold, 2mm and engraved. Haven't seen any good +cheap ones yet!

2008 is the year I discovered Pricescope! And the year I began to buy loose colored stones and settings separately, instead of buying from a B&M.

First was the Richard Homer blue sapphire that I picked out and BF bought me for our one-year anniversary...and the James Allen setting that it was put in.

Next purchase was, I think, the LOGR halo setting, and the Dan Stair umbalite garnet I bought to go in it.

Next, a Gemscoop purchase - a Jeff White morganite Asscher, which hasn''t been set yet

Followed by a Dan Stair sapphire - originally it was for a ring for my mom, but I realized it was way too small for her tastes, so so far it''s unset.

Next, a custom-cut pink tourmaline from Jeff - one of my favorites. Still looking for the perfect setting- Geckodani suggested a Stuller setting in another thread that I''m looking into.

Next, my green tourmaline cut by Barry Bridgestock, to go into another halo setting I got from an ebay seller.

Finally, my last purchase of 2008 is another Gemscoop item - a blue-green tourmaline that just arrived a few days ago!

I''m not entirely sure what my plans are for 2009, other than that I''m definitely going to set those two JW tourmalines next year. I''m also pretty sure that I want more colored stones - I''ll be looking for a yellow tourmaline or yellow sapphire, emerald cut, and maybe a lavender spinel too. And I definitely want a pale blue asscher.
