No glamour shots yet and have already received it, but I reset my stone into a 20k rose gold Clara setting with platinum bezel. 3.09 OMC, o-p color.

Many folks will probably prefer the solitaire with side stones, but that particular stone is quite old and has a wonky outline. It also had an indented natural right next to the girdle, which was very thin to extremely thin. The stone, plus prongs, felt unprotected to me. The new setting is more of my aesthetic preference and it also protects the stone. I'm not really a solitaire or a solitaire with side stones kind of person.

And...the most recent three stone ring posted is @maita13 's gorgeous emerald cuts in platinum with engraving! The center diamond was previously in a more simple CVB setting with side traps, but maita13 had a wonderful idea for her reset!

Here's my engagement ring: A precision cut hexagon Padparascha sapphire (cut by Jim Buday and designed by Michelle Mai) and set into the Dahlia solitaire in platinum by Caysie. My fiancé an amazing job! Here's a couple of glam photos. I'm sorry about the tilt window looking thing going on. IRL, there is no window no matter how I look at it. Weird. Anyway, I love the claws and milgrain so much. I absolutely love Caysie's work.

The stone had some wear and tear, and Caysie's bench was a bit hesitant about mounting it. I said let's try and see what happens, and if it breaks apart - oh well! She ended up being able to set it without any issues

So she made this ring in 2019, and the milgrain "surround" around the center is much thinner from the face-up view. And of course it's got prongs this stone needed a bezel for protection and I personally prefer the look of a heftier bezel, with milgrain on the inside edge, which seems to be her normal these days. But you could request whatever you like best!!
