Love that EC halo ring! Its stunning!
Thank you! It’s my replacement wedding ring after I lost mine earlier this year. Stunning but still getting used to the size!!

How are you planning to set that beautiful aqua?

I love your necklace! So pretty!
A micro halo sounds perfect! Just enough to give it something extra but not too much for daytime.I’m still thinking. It’s going to be a pendant and she is super flashy.
Since it’s 11 carats basically, I’m thinking of just a micro halo edging it and giving it a little extra flash.
I don’t want to over bling it out... and make it like a black tie event only pendant.
Any ideas? I almost made a help with design post the other day, but I’ve been in a lot of pain and having trouble sleeping since my double knee replacement, so my world is so small right now. If I take a shower today, it’s going to be a major achievement.
I got a number pieces this year as I grow close to finishing my collection, but a few stand out. First was for my 60th earlier this year. This is my 4.07ct S/T VS EC with .51ctw of tapered bullet sides in 18kt gold. This ring glows pale yellow in real life and is just luscious.
Then there was my 18kt rose gold opal and diamond drop earrings - 6 Australian opals from Lightning Ridge with .72ctw of diamonds. 2.75" in length. I received these for Christmas this year.
And lastly was a tie between this - my purple spinel with diamond halo in rose gold. The spinel is a little less than 4ct and internally flawless, and the diamonds are, if I recall correctly, were roughly 1/2 ct, tw. This wasn't a hugely expensive project, but it's very beautiful and unlike anything else I own. It's also the only halo in my jewelry box.
Or this - my custom made enamel charm bracelet - the slowest and most excruciating project I've ever done. The charms are solid 18kt and were made and remade more than any other piece. Amy Phillips from DKJ deserves a sainthood for this project; it took years.
I have 2 honorable mentions.
Firstly, I pumped up the sides on my 3 stone, too, and it's a contender for my top 3, just because I wear it so much and really like the way it turned out. Sides went from 2 x .61ct F VS1 stones to .95 and .96 F VS2 stones.
And lastly, my second diamond bangle. It completes my bangle set and gives me a lot of options in the bangle department. It's in platinum and is a continuous band of 5pt diamonds, coming in at a shade over 5ctw. The 2 together, obviously, are over 10ctw.
ETA Ugh! Everybody else stuck to 3! Sorry, @JPie - I didn't have a clear favorite three, altho my No.s 1 and 2 were standouts this year for me.
beautiful one in a kind pieces ! Mrs-b youve heard this a number of times but I must say again - you have such exquisite taste and every piece of yours seems so symbolic and unique..... the opal earrings and the charm bracelet are lovely!
Gorgeous pieces! What are the dimensions of your 4ct EC? Love that bezel setting!

My top 3 are easy choices.
1. My bright raspberry pink tourmaline / tsavorite Christmas ring.
2. My birthday present from DH...a paraiba & pink spinel ring. Totally swoon worthy (both the man and the bling ).
3. Last but not least, my Clover ring. A stunning AVC from Distinctive Gems in a glorious emerald halo. Can you tell I love my ring?

Oh all the amazing jewelry I've seen on PriceScope all year long, and there's been some absolutely jaw-dropping bling, I nominate your icy white antique emerald/asscher ring as the winner! The 2020 best of the best!!
2020 took so long to get through that it seems like a lifetime ago that I got some of these:
My paraiba and moonstone ring from Cecile Raley Designs
My grandidierite (with spinels and paraiba) ring also from Cecle Raley Designs
My laughing buddha pendant that I purchased to wear in memory of my father who passed away last year.
So nice to see so many beautiful additions from others!
Hi, @LoveMeDo, I really like your french cut eternity ring. I am building a 5 stone diamond ring , was set on MRB, but I saw french cut being posted on the forum a few time by various people, so I am very intrigued. Would you please post more details on your ring?
- how many ct?
- who made the ring
- what is your thoughts on french cut vs modern round.
Thank you very much.
Thank you so much! I’m definitely a big fan of color, as you can see.Oh my goodness, they are amazing!
Love the colours and the settings are fabulous.
Lol. I will take that as the highest of compliments. Thank you!!!I don't like the word envy--but your collection seems to elicit that reaction in me
Thank you!Hubbah hubbah!
These are my recent lucky finds - all Van Cleef & Arpels. I think the turquoise Rose de Noel clip/pendant was purchased at the end of 2019 but I am gonna cheat and include it here here, haha. The lapis RdN clip/pendant was purchased before they included it in their permanent collections, but never mind. The lapis pave bracelets are 50th anniversary ed and very hard to find. The TQ vintage Alhambra pendant is also a rarely available item.

They are stunning. The colours are amazing. Do you wear both bracelets?
