Hey Everyone

This is an educational/FUN way for me to try and visualize the differneces in these

two kind of stones. They can be on your hand, in the box--WHATEVER! Even in the

most flattering light condition, it doesn't matter, Thanks!

Well you can click on almost any post here in SMTR to see pictures of TIC's. Almost everyone here has them, aka the AGS000 super ideals from WF or GOG or DCD etc are 99.9% going to be TIC's.

I can only actually RECALL one purchase for a FIC here...it was a gal...stephcola I think who got a 3c FIC from Blue Nile just by chance, it had good specs and a good HCA score and she had a very tight budget. She also wasn't quite sure what she was looking at or for but she liked her stone selection and if I recall just wanted a good looking 3c for her budget. There may be other FIC's but I don't recall them offhand. But they are very far and few between. Maybe some older stones, aka OEC owners may have them.

ok what does FIC and TIC mean?

Tarey...it''s just HCA terminology...TIC is a tolowsky ideal cut (aka what we would call H&A or an ideal cut typical ranged stone) and a FIC is a fiery ideal cut (aka cut to show more fire than bright light or to have a balance of all three..)

You won''t see vendors selling labeled TIC or FIC or BIC..it''s terminology that is used in the HCA.

this is like asking people to post their ''d'' and ''g'' (sic) color diamonds...there is no way you are going to be able to detect the differences in personality over your monitor. as a matter of fact, there is a chance you couldn''t discern the differences in person.
