#JOTW Show your romantic pieces for 14 days of February!

Day 9, this mid century, platinum, diamond and emerald bracelet. Another piece which was gifted to me by my husband! Love the spirit of mid century pieces...full of optimism.

Wow! All these fabulous gifts from your DH!
I have to ask, does he pick these things out himself and surprise you with them?

@stracci2000, that might be my favorite picture ever that you posted and I'm not even a super cameo fan!

@Bluegemz, that's a pretty fantastic bracelet AND ring. Your husband's love language must be gift giving, he is very good at it!

Disclosure: it is night here and the lighting in my house is terrible!

Day 9: This is my original wedding set! DH went out at Christmas to buy the engagement ring, it was busy so there was hardly any parking. He gets in there to buy the ring and he is $1,000 short even after buying out all his vacation time, he applies for the store credit card but isn't approved for enough but somehow he works out a deal with the manager and gets the ring! It is 18k and this diamond is not the original one because the first one got a chip on the girdle! The wedding band is princess and baguettes, I don't wear them since I've discovered old cuts but I keep them safe and sound with my other treasures.

Ah! Finally we see the original set! I think you've got lots of treasure yet to show us!

Awww! I'm glad you like it! The Gibson Girl dish dates to maybe 1910---and the cameo is probably that old, too.
I thought the two profiles would be interesting to show together.
I've been having lots of fun finding things around the house to display pieces for this thread. I photographed several pieces today while I had good daylight. But you will have to wait to see them!

Bonus photo--- February 9
Wedgwood Jasperware and sterling.
I posted this two weeks ago in the "brooches" thread, but it is appropriate in this thread too!

@ SteffanieLynn your poor husband must have been freaking out! So glad he was able to get your beautiful ring. Love the wedding band too.

@stracci2000, someday when I have some money I'm flying out to you so we can nerd out over all your vintage treasures! I can only imagine what other cool stuff you have hanging around.

If you don't like jewelry, china, pottery, rocks, fossils, arrowheads, antiques, Asian art or other vintage crap, you might be bored!

I apologize for posting this again, but it is one of my most romantic and special pieces. It looks yellow in the pics, but it's 18kt rose gold. It has my mother's engagement diamond, my grandmother's engagement and wedding band diamonds, a diamond my dad gave me when I was a teen, and the diamonds from my husband's wedding band.

Don't apologize! This is very romantic and such good eye catching bling to add to this thread! I love its design and history, so I'm happy you did post it. :)

So beautiful, romantic & with so many special diamonds! It looks like a delicate wreath or crown

I wish this were antique but oh well... my Valentine’s gift to myself, I snagged a little trinket, just for funsies, It’s 18kwg, on an 18” chain, and the diamonds are tiny but nice quality as far as I can see so far.

I started a separate thread with the logo marking, in case anyone could help me determine the maker, but at the moment I don’t have any clues. In any case, it seems pretty <3

Here it is with a spare old mine cut, just so I could compare the colors.

And with Edwina...

Great find! And Edwina is lovely.

A little diamond heart pendant. The diamonds are all clear and sparkly, but somehow I got a glare on a few of them. Photographing jewelry is tricky!

Day 10!

This is a ring I bought off Goodwill for DH, when I showed it to him he said "Oh that's cool, it has our initials" so I waited for a minute to see if he was kidding and then had to say "Dear, those are YOUR initials lol!"

It really is cool! Does he wear it?
I love signet rings. I used to have my Nana's, but somehow lost it during a move.

And the family diamonds make it so special!

We are getting close, y’all! I must include this old, old snow flake Zuni cuff which just feels like connection and love through and through. This is my absolute favorite native piece. It was a very romantic gift because of how we found it and what it symbolizes.

This is still one of the most romantic, well executed, prettiest designs I’ve ever seen. It’s great to see it here! I hope you’re enjoying it!

The amount of work someone put into this is just amazing, work of art for sure and what's better than wearable art?

Thanks, @stracci2000 ! It really has been interesting...,of ALL of my jewelry, I have had more real life admiration about this cuff, including offers to buy it off of my wrist for double what we paid. But, I would NEVER sell this piece!
