When I was a very young girl, there was a jewelry store at the local mall called Bailey, Banks, and Biddle. While all the other young girls were shopping for makeup and clothes, I was busy ogling all the beauties at this store. (Think Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's...without all the beauty and elegance, and insert a kid in Jordache jeans and late '70s hair.)
Anyway, my boyfriend at the time, bought me this amazing bracelet for my 8th grade graduation. It is pewter, sterling, gold, copper, and bronze. I love the beauty and sentiment of this gift. And I still have the wrapping paper....and the boyfriend....because I married him.

This is beautiful and very interesting! It looks like an Asian scene. Reminiscent of Japanese chokin art.
I love big cuff bracelets!

He was doing woodworking in the front yard so we wouldn't miss the delivery person plus I had a sign on the front door. I wasn't taking any chances haha.










and of course we went outside so I could get "nature" shots.



I feel almost all my bling pieces are romantic because my DH is always very happy for me to get them. He does subscribe to the "happy wife" happy life motto...most of the time.

Today I am wearing my yellow gold anchor necklace. Reminds me of the sea and of our beach house. I am happy to be in Brooklyn right now but looking forward to being cycling by the shore in a (hopefully) few months. Fingers crossed.



The choker is from my mom who gave it to me decades ago and the anchor pendant is from an IG vendor and now lol I cannot remember who... @StephanieLynn I do not have your excellent memory.

Not sure what else I will be wearing today as it is early morning here and what I am wearing now might not be what I end up going out in later. In fact, I rarely wear bling in the house but in honor of this thread I am.

Although all the gifts from my husband are romantic, Belle is definitely one of the most special. I wasn't planning on an upgrade. I was just going in to change the orientation of how my diamond was sitting in it's setting, but my hubby had a different idea, and I ended up with Belle and a new setting.

Stunning. Bright and beautiful. Belle is a gorgeous diamond and her setting suits her so well. A perfect match.
