No totally related but wanted to share anyway! One of the nicest side effects from being a LIW!!

I have thought that the engagement would be coming over the past 12 months and being asked to be MOH for my best friend has kicked my butt into action to finally losing the many kilos extra I have been storing on my poor bod. I don''t want to look like a flat blob so I have been on a health kick and I have just made my next goal this week - the 20kg mark! We work in kg ''down under'' so that equals to 44 pounds! I am so proud of myself losing it!!! I have still got quite a way to go, but I know I will be so happing when I finally walk down the isle and I look as thin and healthy as I did 11 years ago when he met me!! Just had to share, so excited!!

Honey22, you should join the Weekly Workout thread over on the Family and Home Board--they're a great group!

ETA: Oh, and congratulations! It sounds like you've made great progress already.

Thanks ladypirate. I have been so obsessed with Rocky talky and the LIWs section (not to mention Show me the Ring - drool), I haven''t even checked out the other boards!

WOW. I admire and envy your dedication! I get bored after I go to the gym ~2 months, and I stop going

ETA: my side effect has been oversnacking since I HAVE to have trail mix or some other addictive snack (Oreos... ::shivers from remembered deliciousness:: ) while I'm on PS. Drats.

You work it, girl!! I wish I had that kind of "up-and-at-''em"
That is a huge accomplishment and a lot of hard work. Congratualtions!!!

Congrats! I know that''s really hard work (I''ve been trying to lose the same 10 lbs for the past year!)

Thanks for all the positive replies girls. I am really proud of myself, I have been trying to lose weight for so many years and never had achieved these results. Although I still have a way to go, I feel like I am on cloud nine that I am actually getting there, which gives me the motivation to keep going!

As someone who has had weight struggles for a better part of my adult life, I know how hard it can be to lose any weight let alone as much as you have. Congratulations - I''m so proud of you!! Keep up the great work!

What a great accomplishment!!! You deserve a standing ovation, honey! It takes a lot of hard work to have that much effect on your body. You should treat yourself to your OWN ring
