Had my usual 1/2 decaf 1/2 regular coffee from starbucks (1 Splenda, an inch of whole milk) and then some oatmeal with brown sugar.

I left your cup of coffee over by the microwave so you can heat it up when you're ready, but I ate all the oatmeal!

Venti Peppermint mocha from starbucks (my bi-weekly treat

) and a waffle with syrup.

Sorry but breakfast was hours ago for me...so there's nothing left lol
Lunch is coming up though- - - want half of my peanut butter and honey sandwich? (and don't EWWW the PB&H UNTIL YOU'VE TRIED IT. I used to be impartial to them but then I tried it and now I can eat one everyday if I had to

hehe)

I actually woke up at 5 and made breakfast for my FI, which is highly unusual for me. Pancakes, bacon and scrambled eggs, though I ended up not eating anything.

oatmeal.

I already ate my Luna Bar. But I have some frozen chocolate chip pancakes that for some weird reason my kids won''t eat so you''re welcome to them.

now.....lunch time hee,he

Well, I had some Trader Joe''s brownie bites. I know, I know. I craved a bagel with cream cheese, but I had no cash on me, and didn''t want to pay for something 1.50 with an ATM card!

Ha ha, I had a Crispy Italian Pork Chop with spinach and some Salsa Mac and Cheese (I made it for dinner last night). I was lazy and it was my breakfast/lunch because I woke up a little later than usual.

Oh, and I had a glass of orange juice...

I had my glass of orange juice, a vitamin, one half of a Quaker Oatmeal bar (trying to cut back), and one cup of milk. It was gone hours ago - sorry!

I just told my class (8th graders) two days ago that I was starting a diet, and that was why I didn''t have candy around anymore. Then today, a girl brought Krispy Kreme doughnuts to homeroom for the whole class. I couldn''t resist
11.gif
(There were four left over that you could have had.) Oh yeah, and I washed it down with V8...kind of strange, but I love V8!!!

As a rule I don't eat breakfast. I know it's bad, but a habit of mine since childhood. But I love having breakfast on the weekends. Pancakes, Bacon and fresh squeezed OJ courtesy of IHOP. I have been craving pancakes lately.
18.gif
And no I'm not pregnant, haha.

Oh, Kaleigh, IHOP is the best!

I usually have fruit or yogurt and OJ. Sometimes oatmeal and ww toast.
And of course, I love to have ''Breakfast At Tiffany''s''

I bought some kashi go lean crunch cereal and I really like it. I had that this morning with strawberries. Usually I don''t like the healthier cereals so I was surprised I liked this one.

3 soft shell taco''s
have enough fixins for 2 more if anyone wants one.

I just had a sausage, egg and hashbrown breakfast tv dinner, lol

yum yum :)))

Oh my gosh ... I think I would rather eat cardboard!!!
14.gif
You mean no one forced you to eat that stuff? Well, I am glad that you like it, I am sure the strawberries helped in a very big way!

Well, I woke up too late for breakfast, so I had brunch. Thin sliced american sourdough from bakery, with real mayo, dijon mustard with a dash of horseradish, fresh leaves of romaine lettuce, very thin sliced purple onions, smoked turkey breast and a few dallops of cranberry sauce. MMMmmm! Oh, and don't forget the sliced dill pickle on the side! Finished with a tall glass of filtered water and zest of orange!

Dinner will be soon Dancing Fire ... If you would like, I can set out another place setting. Company is always good!
36.gif
By the way, were having a 3 cheese tortalini with a marinara sauce, then lightly drizzeled with pesto, accompanied by fresh romaine lettuce with hothouse vine quartered tomatoes, sliced avacado, balsamic vinager salad and a dash of olive oil ... and don't forget the bakery bread ... sesame/poppy seeded baguette! I haven't chosen the wine yet, would you like the honors?

I'm getting hungry!

I love Kashi! I used to eat Go Lean but now I eat the 7 grain cereal with honey...it's healthy and has lots of fiber so I stay full til lunchtime with just a small bowl. Sometimes I throw a sliced banana in, I love a banana with cereal, it's such a throwback to childhood!!

During the week, I eat cereal and have coffee for breakfast, on the weekends I typically make breakfast at home for us, today was sausage, eggs over medium, and wheat toast with lots of butter and jam. Sometimes we have hash browns extra crispy which I LOVEEE.

Decide to try a new recipe, spinach and feta quiche. Very easy and was pretty good. There is half a pie left over.

In true southern style....we headed over to the WAFFLE HOUSE!!!
9.gif

I had a "Bacon, Egg & Cheese plate...scattered and covered" For those uneducated in Waffle House lingo....thats a bacon, egg & cheese sandwich with hashbrowns scattered around and covered with cheese!!!! These high fat breakfasts are rare, but ohhhhh soooo yummy
3.gif

During the week it''s a bowl of oatmeal.

Oh Libby that sounds so yummy. I have never been to a Waffle House before.

we went to a waffle house in florida...greg said he loved them from childhood (he didn't grow up in FL we were just visiting some relatives there). omg i was so disgusted...i hate to say it. the food was fine, but the place was an absolute mess, we sat near the kitchen so we could see all the crap on the floor and dust and stuff and it just really grossed me out so that i felt weird eating my breakfast. i can eat at IHOP or whatever with the best of them but this place was icky. greg said they weren't ALL like that...and agreed that one was pretty bad.
40.gif

Kaleigh,
It''s just a southern tradition to go to Waffle House at least once....it''s usually when you are in your early 20''s....after a night of dancing and drinks and you want to go somewhere for food, but what place is going to be open at 3:00am in the south?!
The Waffle House!! They never close.

Mara,
Ummmm that probably describes 50% of them
14.gif
Just sometimes you gotta have Waffle House....sounds like Greg knows what I mean

thanks for the invitation but, i''m on a diet.

That''s ok Dancing Fire ... maybe another nite!

I hear you on the diet! Hey, maybe Diamondsrock has some left over Kashi & strawberries? (I wonder if that stuff tastes like grape nuts? Cardboard does have fiber ... right?)

I don''t let my family do the bakery thing too much ... man all those carbs! Usually once a month, I will fix a very nice dinner (Carb city) that of course includes really heavenly bread
12.gif
... I get just enough for one days worth! When it''s gone ... it''s gone!

One thing I have transitioned my taste buds to do is ... to put some type of vinegar and a dash of olive oil on my salad greens ... it sure has made a difference just with that small adjustment.

Mara ... I hear you on the "gross out diner"! Man, I went to a place like that once, and they had taken our order, and I was looking around ... and I couldn''t eat! Everyone just stared at me, and kept asking what was wrong ... I was trying to be polite and saying that I didn''t feel good all of a sudden, but I didn''t want to shout out "Oh my golly, theres lard caked on the corners of the table ajoined to the wall ... Uuuck!"
14.gif
Just too sicko for me! I couldn''t wait to leave!
