I have a problem when it comes to blue...once the box was filled, I promised myself "no more"
But....
I read about the fairly recent limited aquamarine find from Nasarawa...I had to have...after all it's my birthstone
So I purchased this just under a carat one from Earth's Treasury (bottom round -- the top stone is my aqua from Barry Bridgestock for comparison). I justified the purchase as I already had a setting that would fit it.
Of course, then Gene from Precision Gem had to post a cuprian from Nigeria...breaking both my cuprian and blue ban (with the faceting reflecting the light, it show much brighter IRL).
Of course, then Gene had to post this concave bluer Tanzanite I've wanted a concave tanzi from Gene ever since others have shown theirs. At just under 8mm, I told myself that it "might" fit this setting I had...but of course, you can see it does not (so my hunt for a 8-8.5mm stone continues, lol)
On a positive not, I tell myself that I do have this one posted on LT (it's been there awhile, but I have no real desire to get rid of it because although the stone is little, it is my ideal for an indicolite).
None of these are overly expensive...but I still know it is too many....I need to stop!!
Anyone else singing the blues with me?

New Find of Deep Blue Aquamarine from Nasarawa State in Nigeria | Gems & Gemology
Nigerian aquamarine with exceptionally deep and saturated color also displays unusually strong pleochroism.
