We found this wonderful Antique/ Vintage centre, over 80 little shops, and sooo much stuff. Could have spent a month there. Anyhow I saw something in a cabinet that caught my eye… a huge hunk of turquoise. It’s stunning. Have absolutely no idea what I’ll do with it.

Chapel Street Bazaar, Prahran. It is jam packed with treasures. Heaps of super cool vintage clothes, bags, scarves and the prices - cheap.
They have more lumps of Turquoise, I bought the biggest one $550. Other start at around $70. Oh, and fossils.

And two boxes of treasures - sealed. I asked for a sharp knife with dinner (room service) so I can open up the cases and explore the contents!
I do “dangles” and search out vintage beads. That’s how I got the gem haul. $35 a box, including the box which is worth $20.

It was weird, it “spoke” to me.
While DH and I have amassed an impressive collection of rocks and minerals (he’s now studying Geo Science as a hobby) of all the stuff in the cabinets and there was mountains of stuff, it was this said “take me home”.
So I did.

Hi, no, a Saluki. Middle Eastern Hunting dog. Desert dogs that hunt with a falcon. The falcon flys and finds prey (dinner) and circles and the Salukis watch and run to where the falcon indicates and brings it down. Fastest land animal over 3 kms (greyhounds, cheetahs etc can’t run 3 kms).
Have two girl, Arya the cream and Mica the Tri colour. Sisters actually ( different litters). Here we chase plastic bags around a paddock!
