Great shots Widget! Scary strange forest creature in the last shot!

Bless her! Spring won't officially start for me until the Barn Swallows return which could be any time now, the first normally arrive late April here then the gang are all here by mid May. They breed every year in my outbuildings and it is great to see more and more come back every year and watching the babies learn to fly. There is one drawback though... they keep toileting on my car

and I have to keep a bucket of water and a sponge handy to wipe the droppings off daily! I don't know, what with them and Tomcatt spraying on my tyres......

Widget, while we''re in the boonies in the santa cruz mountains, we were able to FINALLY get cable for the computer last fall! don''t get it for tv but we do pay for it for the computer.....priorities!

unfortunately, i didn''t have the camera with me on sunday when about 5p as we left the house for easter dinner a coyote crossed onto the road in front of us then saundered past the car in the ''other lane'' as if we weren''t even there.

i keep hoping the flock of wild turkeys passes on through again!

The only real "nature" I ever get being in the city are the giant rats that live by the river right near my townhouse -- although some of them are about as big as these deer. (Would love to say "LOL" but I'm not kidding; some of those suckers are HUGE!)
