I''m so nervous I''ve been getting ill. It''s the fear from 2004 coming back again...

And I keep eating which is so strange. I''ve been eating nonstop which is not my usual reaction when my nerves are bad. Usually I can''t eat at all. And I''ve been eating a TON of sweets which is so not my thing!

I had to drive down from Connecticut to Virginia yesterday so that I could vote here today, cutting a visit there short. I told my daughter I was a pilgrim on a religious journey. I had to travel to my current "home" to vote. (I thought of the story of the birth of Jesus in which Joseph was travelling to his hometown, in fact.) Other than casting my vote, I do not feel I have anything else to do.

I''m up at 5:30 am, showered and ready to go be a pollworker! Just going to be difficult not knowing what the results are. hugs and kisses to all whose day will be difficult. Just as an FYI, Obama just won Dix Notch and the other NH midnight voting towns.

Probably not going to help any of you feel less anxious, but if you are on facebook, log on and follow this link: http://causes.com/election/3120411?m=ad1fd51b

You can then use your status to remind people to vote. Or, you could just set your status to remind people to vote yourself.

I think the link above might be set to Obama, cos that is what I put, although I think you can change it once you follow the link.

Yeah, my facebook status is telling people to vote tomorrow, even though I live on the opposite side of the world and am not American. Weird how the whole world is anxious about the result tomorrow (or is it today now??).

I am so not nervous at all. I was sooooooooo nervous over the weekend . . . hoping to not have to go through the same feelings of 4 and 8 years ago! But, now, no worries at all. I was so excited to vote this morning that I actually went before work, which I have never before managed to do. Not a morning person.

Super-excited to see those results pour in tonight!!

Not working today. Waiting for BF to get home so we can go together.

Am I nervous? Yes. Nervous but very hopeful.

I feel a tremendous amount of relief over having voted. I practically skipped out of my precinct.

I think I''ll be calm until I can take my exam that I have scheduled for today, then once I''m glued to CNN for the rest of the night, I think the anxiety may peak again

Okay I voted.

Kaleigh, actually we dont'' get a set number of sick days, we are allowed as many as needed (with pay) and expected to use them reponsibly. It''s very nice. But also makes me feel obligated to NOT call out. LOL. Ahh well... I hope you puppy fares well.

Waiting is just wearing on me. I''m glad to know I''m in such good company though!

I''m voting this afternoon...

Ease up Obama supporters! By all accounts, he has this thing in the bag!

Californians are the ones who have a real race to watch...I still think Prop 8 is very close.

I really wish I was a CA voter today so I could vote against Prop 8.

ARGH! I don''t want to be here today. I just want to go HOME. I''m just frazzled, the prop 8 thing has me REALLY nervous. SO close.
