Ellen/Skippy:
In all honesty, hubby is not very good, but he IS a good sport about it and actually looks forward to going.
He admits he does it for me because he knows I like to dance.
All the couples bring wine, cheese and crackers and we all share, then we dance for an hour and a half.
Our instructors are professionals and donate their time. All the fees we pay go to our church and towards feeding the homeless in our community.
It''s probably more social than anything, but it IS so fun.
The Tango is my favorite by far!

We''re staying in tonight--chicken and roast potatoes with rosemary and garlic are in the oven! We''re selling a car this evening, so we need to make sure that we''re here when the guy shows up to buy it!

I''m trying to convince my guy to take dance lessons with me--he''s done it before, but it''s hard because I''ve been doing swing and ballroom for years (with some blues dancing and tango mixed in) and he''s a beginner. I used to just go out on my own when I lived in Los Angeles, but there isn''t much of a dance scene where we live now.

I think I''ve talked him into checking out the swing and ballroom club at the local university where he works, though, so hopefully we''ll be doing that on Monday nights!
