Here are a few non-pro pictures I’ve received from our wedding – I hope to have many more and some pro pics to replace them with soon. First, DH’s brother (and best man) signing our marriage license, with my MOH in the background, then DH and I from the side – it’s a decent shot of my flowers and some dress detail.
Here is one of our rabbis (there were two who performed the ceremony – I’ve known this one since I was about 4 years old) reading our Ketubah, or Jewish marriage contract, while DH and I and the assembled guests look on. Then a bad shot of me being escorted to the Chuppah by my mom (in silver – she looked fantastic!) and my dad. If you look closely you can kind of see some of the hand-painted (by me and mom) cherry blossoms on the Chuppah.
A sort of vague shot under the Chuppah, but it shows some of the Chuppah detail better, and a shot of our GORGEOUS cake.
A couple of shots of me and my ladies dinner group – mostly fellow Brown alums, we get together for a themed potluck once a week – they are a wonderful group of girls and I feel really lucky to be a part of this group. Definitely helped keep me sane during wedding planning
Me with my dear friend Ann-Marie, who sadly moved away to Maryland with her DH a few days later. Also a decent shot of our favors – inside were two See’s candies, one chocolate buttercream and one vanilla.
Me and DH with serious red-eye – I’m laughing because his grandma and my mom were doing a silly little dance to the cake cutting song (“How Sweet it is (to be Loved by You)”), So cute, and so funny – those are definitely some of the best memories are little moments like that. Also a decent shot of the back of my dress and hair, although I’m not sure why I look like such a football player with fat shoulders/back here – hopefully the same effect won’t be there in the pro pics. You can also see the BM bouquets on the cake table.
