So I finally borrowed a camera from a friend and took some photos of my colored stones. I know I have posted vendor photos so here are some more RL photos and some new things. I apologize in advance. All the photos were taken indoors at night so the color is not always true to life.

Enjoy!

First Up is my first purchase thanks to PS. It is a purple pink spinel from Rick at Art Cut Gems in an upgrade LOGR setting. The color is much more vibrant in RL- not early as dark.

Next up is a 3.5 ct oval blue topaz that I had set in a LOGR setting as well. This setting is typically N/S but I had my jeweler set the topas E/W instead.

Sorry I didn''t realize when I took the photo that I was blocking light so the ring is in shadow.

My DH''s birthstone is topaz so I have several pieces. This is my blue topaz and diamond set. Each topaz is over 4 cts.

My Citrine set. The ring was from ebay off of one of LOGR other alias- I think the Iban.04 or whatever that one is. The earrings I had custom made to match.

Here is my huge mega citrine at 20.04 cts. I''m not sure exactly what I plan on doing with it- we will see- i''m thinking a pendant of some kind.

This picture does not do the ruby justice but here is my 1.12ct unheated ruby from Thailand that I bought in 2008. I had it set in a halo setting by a local jeweler.

Here is another picture of the necklace. The ruby is much more red in RL- I guess I need to take photos outside during the daytime. You just don''t see how beautiful the stone is in these.

Here is a RL picture of my 8.05ct ruby ring surrounded by 1.0ct diamond halo.

And last photo for now because I''m so disappointed with how they came out- they look really crappy

Well I hope someone enjoyed my pictures.

Here are my green amythest halo earrings. The gemstones are a total weight of 8cts. I"m not sure on the diamonds.

I think it’s great that you get your jewellery in sets so you can wear a complete one gemstone type variety which looks really matchy.

You have some really lovely pieces!

Lovely collection.

Lovely collection and I really like the Citrine set and would love to see the ring from the front....

Pretty pieces! I love the idea of sets too.

Thank you for the pictures! I especially love the green amethyst earrings.

It''s always so much fun to see other''s collections - thanks Sarahbear! Those prasiolite earrings are definitely something I''d love to wear!

Thanks Luckynumber- here is the orginal thread on my ring. I get two more rings this weekend from my jeweler so I will take photos of them outside and include some more on this ring- I would really like to have some nice photographs of it.

Hi Sal from Cal- Here is another shot of the ring- the vendor shot and more stats on it. I do have a photo of just the top part but it is blury- I will see what I can do later about taking a nicer one. Today it is really dark outside so I''m thinking tomorrow might be a photoshoot day.

Here is the info on it:
Citrine: 5.58cts
Diamonds: Natural Diamonds
Carat Weight:0.62ct
Cut: Round
Clarity: VS
Color:G-H

I love your ruby ring and pendant! Gorgeous collection Sarah!

beautiful collection - the setting for the purple spinel is super intense- I can imagine the sparkliness!

Gorgeous collection.

I know it''s very hard to get photos of CS to look how the stone looks to you IRL! It''s a challenge, but thanks for trying. Very lovely collection!! I''d LOVE to see some daylight shots indoors or outdoors. Especially of that purple spinel!

Great sets!! TFS

I love the look of your citrine ring, it looks kind of serene to me, maybe because the shape is reminiscent of a Buddhist pagoda. I have a good imagination
