Before Christmas I was in Tiffany in Selfridges looking at bling whilst I was waiting for FI.
I got talking to the sales guy about rocks and turned out we were both tsavorite fans - I promised to bring my e-ring in for him to see when I got it back. Before I left, he gave me a very nice book on diamonds (not a Tiffany catalogue, but a proper book) and we exchanged business cards.
After xmas, I went in as promised, but he had left.
My colleague just bought the post up and there was a big parcel for me. Turns out this guy is now working for Garrard and has sent me the new catalogues and... a HUGE hardback book with beautiful photos of famous Garrard pieces.
He put a letter in saying he knew I loved coloured gems and hoped I''d enjoy it, and to pop in if I was ever passing.
How nice was that!
