One of my favorite pastimes is scrolling through old Sotheby listings… it’s long sold, and, well even if it wasn’t, I’m not sure I could make enough selling feet pics to buy this. And even then, I’d have to give myself a pedicure, yes, cause I’m not going to pay someone to do something I can do for myself… and pedicures at home are so hard cause you have to bend your foot up next to you, and at my age that’s starting to get hard

Hmmm that's tough bc they're such different aesthetics. I think I'd probably do the mcteigue. Only because there are lots of folks who make mokume bands, so getting one (even if not sawyer) isn't hard. But no one can replicate mcteigue and their craftsmanship (imho).

Showed up desperately in need of a bath, and after a couple of trips through the ultrasonic, we have this:
It's pretty clean, just one chip that's mostly under the girdle, that could easily be concealed.
I'd guess it's somewhere from an I-L. I'm not good at discerning color grades, particularly when stones are set.
I'm measuring roughly 7.3mm x 7.5mm, but no idea on depth, since it's set.
Btw, just editing to add the Max Pawn folks were lovely. Shipped the ring quickly, packaged it up REALLY well, and even sent a sweet little jewelry pouch.
