Somebody's Gotta Buy This Piece!

The ring from Max Pawn arrived! Just a reminder, this was the best image, and it was described as est. 1.5ct, Quality: High.

Showed up desperately in need of a bath, and after a couple of trips through the ultrasonic, we have this:
20250120_152317.jpg20250120_152108.jpg

It's pretty clean, just one chip that's mostly under the girdle, that could easily be concealed.
20250120_151704.jpg20250120_151509.jpg

I'd guess it's somewhere from an I-L. I'm not good at discerning color grades, particularly when stones are set.
I'm measuring roughly 7.3mm x 7.5mm, but no idea on depth, since it's set.

Btw, just editing to add the Max Pawn folks were lovely. Shipped the ring quickly, packaged it up REALLY well, and even sent a sweet little jewelry pouch.

Wow! What an amazing facet pattern. She’s so fabulous.

The faceting on this is so pretty!

She's gorgeous. And I'm jealous. I wish I were more impetuous to jump on things like this. I need to learn from you!!!

I sent them to David yesterday. I will have to take pictures when I get them back. They are on his Instagram page:)

I have my new earrings back. Just a quick photo, just fresh from my bath. After I give them a cleaning I will take pictures of just the earrings.

I have never felt that my first piercing was too low, with these earrings it feels dangerously close! Regardless, I love them!!!
How in the world did my ears get so big!!! :( IMG_1103.pngIMG_1101.pngIMG_1088.jpegIMG_1103.png

These are beautiful, congratulations!

And earring photos are impossible to take so any concerns about your ears are the fault of the photos and nothing else! They look great on you and fit perfectly with your other pieces!

@newtojewels I want you to know how sorry I am to hear about your dad. Sending positive, healing thoughts his way and love and hugs to you!!!!

Thank you, it's too funny how you can see yourself in a mirror every day and not see the flaws. Once a picture is taken, they aren't just there, they're magnified!

I saw you were wearing your ring! I hope it is a sparkling and welcomed distraction. It is so beautiful!!! I love seeing it on your finger!

Thank you @Dreamer_D I haven't worn my MRB diamond earrings for such a long time and had been wearing small earrings like these. A part of me really wanted to just wear the studs, but I do like my tiny earrings so I figured I might as well please me!

My apologies to everyone for the HUGE pictures!!! Yikes!!!!

Stunning!

Now let’s see it with the twins!!

The twins will probably come back from GIA this week, so I'll post some some pics once I've been able to pick them up.

Baguettes, anyone? Somebody please buy these and save me from myself! I had these cute earrings - fully articulated circles of baguette diamonds set in 18k - bookmarked before I realized that at about 1/2” in diameter, they’re probably a bit too delicate overall for me. And then the seller made me an offer no reasonable diamond lover could refuse. So - anyone care to buy 32 baguettes, at less than $10 per stone, set into a pair of cute and flirty 18k earrings?

Sweet wedding set with a nice half carat OEC - size 5.25.

That’s really amazing! Both matching color and a high color as well For old stones!

ETA – how come one report has all the measurements on the diagram and the other one does not?

Round brilliants get the full measurements but old cuts, including circular brilliants, do not.

Its very interesting that one of these transitionals met the criteria for circular brilliant and the other didn't!

AMAZING!!! So white and clean! I can't wait to see what your newest acquisition is in color and specs bc as I said, I think they would be an amazing three stone.

(My first reaction was actually :x2 o_O :x2because I am so jealous of all these amazing diamonds you have been buying :lol-2: )

I'm just worried I'll be thrown off by the size difference, but it may be the weekend before I really get to sit and look at them together closely.

Hmmm. Well someone 100 years ago thought they were a good match. I feel like we have to be more forgiving of these old ladies. Especially ones so rare and perfectly matched in facet patterning as these! And some types of setting like faux bezels and collettes hide such variations. But I look forward to your thoughts!

This will be swiped by a vendor. Or it will be swiped.
Price for this is exceptional imo. French Platinum Art Deco. Exceptional all around.

Omg that one is tragic for me. ^^^
