Anyway I had loved this ring but was hesitant bc of the fact that it was nicked up and it was bought and returned once so thought it was a dud - decided to give it a chance before pulling the trigger on ruby again.

OMG. I. DO. NOT. CARE about the abrasions. My eyes cannot see them lol when I'm wearing it. Also it's RED. It's not purplish like in the pictures on TRR and also even in my pics.

I will do a SMTB later but just wanted to share since I knew alot of PSers knew about this ring. It says 1 ct of diamonds but I think it's more.

It’s gorgeous and much more keeping with your collection than the other one. Do you think the setting is antique?

I really want to ring like this at some point. It’s on my to buy list.

I think that the setting is antique, but I’m not an expert. It just doesn’t look like a repro to me based on the wear of it and then too on the stone.
 
I’ll play… N si1. Tho I think for the price it’s probably warmer or lower clarity? I see the little side chips but nothing else. Definitely see the the inner warmth.

We need a thread for PS tools. I need a macro camera recommendation, new callipers, and whatever spotlight dolly uses.

I need someone to show me how to use this… apparently I lack the skills … however I did find the toggle zoom thing in my phone the other day and felt very tech savvy using it… but now I don’t remember where the button for that is :lol:

This might be a little smaller than the one I posted before but still decent price per carat weight plus materials. We’ve got another No Return Seller. Center diamond and others are old cuts mixed with some modern round brilliants.

Diamonds are all beautiful (old miner) mine cut diamonds & have not been removed from the setting for sizing or evaluation, so sizing is done by industry standards & are approximate. Diamond sizes graduate as follows.

I have been following this one! It sold back on 1/31 and is now listed again but the size of the stones/ctw and clarity are different. I’m assuming it didn’t pass the authenticity. Original listing sold for $3,170 and was 3 ctw with the center stone .75, VS2 and now it’s listed as 2.75 ctw, the center .60, VS2/SI1/SI2 and a bit more expensive.

Edit to add: the bottom of the listing does say it was returned after the eBay authenticity review but it doesn’t mention the exact details! Regardless, a lovely find, a tiny bit too small for my wrist!
