I'll admit, I caved @lala646 thanks for the heads up!! These bands in the exact size are so hard to find. My original plan was to look for an emerald one after I got my first sapphire band but that seems almost impossible. Ending up with two sapphire bands is not too bad ... right?

I think it's easy to find ones with very dark stones. There's lots of newly made ones where the stones are almost black.

Same girl, same...

I was hemming and hawing about a beautiful size 8.75 I found last year that was $1950. I just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger, mostly because I was bitter over the "plus size penalty" (that's how I think of the often higher prices for larger sized rings). It sold before I could convince myself.

Definitely! The one I have is royal blue (very pretty esp. under the sun) and never looks black. This one appears to be one shade lighter based on the pics? I'm very curious too!
