Ok, so a little background information - My boss''s wife is in partnership with a jeweler in the NY diamond district. When it came time to get engaged - I knew my fiance wouldn''t do the research so it was just easier to give him her number and I would end up getting something nice (not to mention a great deal). So that is what we did. Well, recently, it was time to order the wedding bands - so she shipped my engagement ring to NY so that the jeweler could make sure that the e-ring and w-band looked great together. It took about 2 weeks and yes, they look fabulous together. Well, I was on the phone with her the other day at work when she called for her husband and we were talking about the wedding (she and her husband, my boss, are coming to our wedding in hawaii). Well, nobody in my family really has anything that I can "borrow". Knowing that she has a fabulous personal collection of jewelry (she could buy a house in Southern California if she sold them all), I asked if she had anything special that I could "borrow" for my "somthing borrowed". She was so excited about being asked - she asked me to email her a pic of my dress. Well, she in turn emailed the pic to the jeweler in NY and he was very happy to help too. He is sending a few amazing pieces to her, especially selected for me and my dress, to choose from. OMG!!! I feel like I''m going to the academy awards!
