Sometimes LIW isn''t so bad.

Last night, SO brought me home roses and a bottle of my fave wine. We are in the midst of a move, so we''ve both been super busy and tired lately. We haven''t been fighting or anything like that, but we haven''t had much time or energy to enjoy one another. And, not that I care all that much about gifts themselves, but it''s the thoughtfulness behind it that makes me love him so much. Especially since it has been over a year -- I appreciate that he''s not getting lazy, haha!

Anyone else have any raves/mini-updates?

AB - what a sweet thought!

The other day when i was complaining about the weather (middle of summer and its freaking 50?!?!?!) i came home and E had a fire started in the fire place. so sweet

i moved about 9 months ago to a different state to live with my now FI. my birthday is coming up next month and he planned a suprise (which he slipped and told me about) that he is flying my mom out so that we can go wedding dress shopping... i never get to see her so it was the most thoughtful present i could ever ask for.

cbs102 - I''m only 3 hrs away from my mom and I have a tough enough time with that! But you guys will have a blast. That is such a perfect mother-daughter activity.

BF was out of town this weekend, and took a shower before he left. He wrote "Miss you already" when the mirror fogged up so that when I took a shower it would show up.

Awwwww!


Mine always locks the door when he leaves, to make sure my sleeping self is safe.

He''s always plotting on how to make me happy; he makes me pancakes even though he doesn''t like them himself, takes me out to stock up on books from the library when it looks like it''ll be a busy week for him (and carries them for me), and offers to drag his exhausted self out to get the fixins'' for garlic bread when I mention I have a late night craving. He automatically steadies me when I put on my shoes.

At night, he actively curls closer to my freezing feet, instead of shrieking and trying to twist away from contact with said foot-shaped icicles of doom!

It''s all about the little things.
