Saw it on another platform earlier—this is exquisite! I love anything with a botanical viewpoint and that green turquoise gives this piece immaculate vibes. I love all your designs and this is no exception!

I love the double bezel and the substantial silver beads! Another beautiful outcome for another beautiful turquoise stone.

Love the design "evolution," too -- great choice!

Thanks! I usually make several sketches before I am happy with a design.

Thank you!
The green turquoise lends itself to organic design, doesn't it?
I love the vibrant color and I will get more of this turquoise soon!

@Timor @mayday
Thanks!
Beads add a nice element to the design.
And I make them from scrap silver, so they are recycled from previous projects!
I hate to waste anything.

That's awesome! I love the green color.

I love green turquoise - definitely something to be appreciated on its own right! Can I ask - how did you get started with silversmithing? It must be so gratifying to be able to create your own jewelry. Such a great hobby and far better than buying on ebay and having your gems sit forever in a box in your closet, like I do.

Yes, it is very gratifying to make my own jewelry!
Back in 2003, I met a lady silversmith from Zuni Pueblo here in NM.
I asked her for a lesson. I sat with her for three hours and learned all the basics.
I bought the tools, and proceeded to melt silver and crack stones. But I kept at it, and got better. I'm still learning! I've also done lots of repairs/alterations on gold, as well.
I don't sell any of it, it's just a hobby for myself.
I still get a thrill when I do the final polish on one of my pieces.

This is so amazing! :kiss2: I love the leaf detail & the color of that turquoise

Wow, this is so neat and love the continuation of the craft through generations. It's such a gift to be creative - math person here.

Thank you! I really love to make jewelry.
However, I am absolutely NOT a math person!
But if I have a stone, I can create a design for it.....is that what you mean?

@stracci2000 , yep. I'm the math person and it's so amazing to me when people can imagine a design and be able to translate that vision into a piece of wearable. I could never be able to do that.

I love to sit down and draw up multiple options. I hate to waste silver, so working it all out on paper first solves that problem.
