sooo..heres whats up....lol

so as you guys know i had a pretty not good week..ankle spraining, stolen car, and well crazy school schedual....

well yesterday was the big day, where we went down into the diamond district to PICK OUT MY RING...

first appointment went ok the guy was really nce but he was 20 min. late, he had really nice peices to show but quality wasnt all there, ive seen better, so on to our next appointment which we were late for casue of the first guy we saw...

but it wasnt a problem becasue the lady at the second place was not so nice, i swear to you our visit there lastest 5 min. tops. the lady did not really care to help us and didnt seem very intereted at all, well she was interested in one thing my BOYFRIENDS EYES!!! yea thats right the whole time she just stared at his eyes and actually had the nerve to be like..."your eyes and eye lashes are amazing" and i was like WHAT??!! yea that was our sign to get outa there and not turn back

so we had like 2 hours or so to walk around till our final appointment and so by now we knew what we wanted and we found out the only way to get that is to custom make our rings

so we walk into the their appointment and my boyfriend said he felt like he was meeting a friend...this guy is amazing!!! he not only made us feel at home but he acually showed us every step of the process we say he work space, his shop, everything he was not ashamed to show us everything and that was so great!

so after like 30 min. of conversation my boyfriend whispers to me "em...this is for real, this is our guy" yea!! i know!!!

so my guy was like " so B what would you need from me today, because we want you to help us and go through this process with us" and he said " M, in my years as a custom jeweler never once have i taken a down payment (which everyone else we saw that day wanted from us) i want you to know that im a handshake kinda guy"

so my boyfriend stands up as were getting ready to leave and what does he do...HE SHAKES HIS HAND, AND HANDS OVER MY STONE!!!!!

this guys work is def. in the same category as LEON and i am so happy and the price he gave us was even more amazing1!!!

i am so happy i thought id let you know how everything went...

p.s the CAD''s that im not allowed to see will be in by the end of the week!!!! im so exited!!!

thanks you guys, i am really happy and exited about everything...even M said he has never felt this comfortable and exited to spend that amount of money on something!

i dunno for me i guess knowing that the ring is in progress is making this final stretch so much easier...which is weird cause i thought for sure that i would be even more impatient and even more anxious but im not...

if any of you LIW's are going custom make sure you feel comfortable with the person you are going with! i swear it makes all the difference!

i wish i would be able to see pictures of my ring before but im not allowed i swore that i wouldnt bug M about it or be snoopy so until he actually proposes there wont be any pics...not any of the CAD's, or the waxes or the molds, not anything till that sucker is on my finger....but i promise once i do get it i will be in picture upload overload!! the only thing i know about my ring is obviously its a 2 ct. asscher which is amazing it sparkles like crazy, and that our inspiration was the tiffany legacy, so i know that suckers gonna have a comfy home inside a halo! so i can only dream of how its gonna look on my hand!


im so exited...i keep looking at his website just to remind myself of how great his work is haha..ok i gotta get going or im gonna be late for bio!!!
