I knew I didn''t want my H2B, his groomsmen, and my dad to wear the typical black tuxedo...nothing against it, it just doesn''t go with the more relaxed, Sunday afternoon wedding I''m going to have. In my mind, I was picturing how cool it would be if somehow I could find khaki or tan colored suits that looked a bit more laid back...and lo and behold, what did I find?!?!

Another pic of it...

And one more, with a colored vest...

I haven''t decided what to do about the tie and vest...I''m actually kinda tempted to just have them wear a crisp white shirt with the top button unbuttoned and call it good! I really like the laid-back casualness of it. But then again, it does look good with a tie too...eh, we''ll decide later. :)

Oh, and the best part is, there''s a suit shop that''s LITERALLY just down the street from my parents'' house (where the wedding will be) that carries this suit for rent! :)

looks like things are coming together for you!

my man was the best man in a wedding last summer and all the groomsmen wore a similar tan suit. at first i was a little unsure of the color(mind you i think there''s was made out of silk so i was picturing the suit all flowy and it wasn''t) -- but i have to admit that they all looked really good!!! i totally think that crisp white shirt idea is the way to go

you will have a very handsome groom at the end of the aisle

I LOVE these suits! Thank you so much for posting these because I''ve been fretting about how my FI and his BMs were going to look with a brown and blue theme! I just wish these would be available sooner . . .

Okay, how organized are you HMG????!!!! Your wedding is next year and I think you have more together than me who has just 3 months to go. We looked at tuxes this weekend and the one that FI wants made him look like a priest! And he really wants it so what can I say? I guess it looked priestly b/c it was 2 sizes too big and the salesguy assured us it would fit better and show the vest and tie underneath, so as to not look so priestly. I couldn''t download an exact picture but it''s similar to this one...it does look very dressy and out of the ordinary (he wears suits to work a lot and wanted to differentiate from what''s already in his wardrobe).

I love the idea of wearing no tie and having the open colllar for a Sunday afternoon wedding. I think the color you chose will be a nice compliment to shades of bridesmaid dresses too.

LMAO at the priest comment!!!! HAHAHAH! I do have to admit, the jacket does look slightly priest-ly, but if he really loves it, then you''re right, what can you do??? Hehe, at least he''ll be a happy smiling groom, that''s what matters!!! :)

Oh, and really, I''m not that organized, I just get a little obsessed when I get on a roll. lol. I''ve been on quite the roll for the past couple of weeks.

Yesh, a crisp white shirt without a tie is totally FI''s taste...and there''s something so handsome and sexy when they look just a little bit "undone."
