Sottero and Midgley

Hey All,

So I am slowly starting to look at wedding gowns ... very exciting part
I am really loving Maggie Sottero and Sottero and Midgley gowns and am wondering if any brides out there have purchased gowns from them??
Is the quality good?
Are you happy with the purchase??
What do the prices range?? ( In Ottawa, Canada area if possible)

Do you guys have any pics out there?? Preferably on a real person and not the model.

My gown is Maggie Sottero. I LOVE my gown. I think it's great quality, and is quite flattering!

My dress was 850, but since it was a sample it was only 650. I think her range right around 600-1500, if I'm not mistaken? I'm guessing at that number, but most of her gowns are more reasonably priced.

I am not a Maggie or a Sottero and Midgley bride, BUT that is only because i found a great deal on something else i loved. I believe the majority of the dresses that I tried on and LOVED were of the two maggie lines. I really loved the fabrics used -- particularly the silk dresses seemed of very good quality, and the fit on them was spectacular. I think the corset backs of the maggies are soooo flattering.

I think elledizzy was correct in the pricing - i saw dresses anywhere from $750 to $1500. Good Luck!

I loved my Maggie Sottero dress, but in retrospect, I think I jumped the gun and probably could have found something I loved even more (I went with an A-line fit, but I really love Mermaid silhouettes; it was nothing personal with the dress).

When it comes to the fit of the gown, though, it''s hard to go wrong with Maggie! I''m short-waisted and large busted, and my dress made me feel like I had an hourglass figure, and I felt sexy and comfortable in my dress.

My dress was Amelia, btw.

which place did you buy from? I ask b/c I''m from the st.clair/macomb county line and the retailer in Port Huron was really nice, but didn''t have a TON of Maggie gowns, which of course, were my favorite in the store

which place did you buy from? I ask b/c I''m from the st.clair/macomb county line and the retailer in Port Huron was really nice, but didn''t have a TON of Maggie gowns, which of course, were my favorite in the store

I went to Darling Bridal Showcase in Ann Arbor. I also went to I Do Too bridal in Plymouth and tried on several. Both places were SUPER helpful and nice.

My dress was a Maggie Sottero, unbelievable quality - i loved it SOOOOOOOOOOOO much.
i just posted a bunch of nonpro pics.

it was beautiful and i received compliments all weekend

I have ordered a Maggie... it wont be here till November though. I loved the feel of the material and it looked very well made. The dress in the bridal shop was $2590 (i''m in Australia) but i found it online for around $850 US and i am having it shipped over, icluding a garment bag, postage and the exchange rate (not too sure if i will have to pay tax) it worked out to $1190 AU, which is less than half the price than the bridal store. I don''t have any pictures with me in it yet... i''ll have to wait until November!

Anyways, I''ve tried on several Maggie dresses and they were all of awesome quality... I saw this dress online and just had to have it. At the time I was looking, ot one store in the area had the dress in yet for me to try on... so I bought it without trying it on! Thank God I love it!

Mine is a Maggie. I don''t have it yet but the quality of the ones I''ve seen is great. The sample in the shop was a few sizes too small for me but still made me look fantastic (and I''m not the most confident, so for me to say that it takes quite a bit!). Mine was just barely under $2000, but I''m in Australia so we have to pay more
