I bought 3 pairs....all different thicknesses, some variations in carving, and variations in transluscency, as well as color....so not molded and definitely carved.

China has Hetian jade for opaque whites that they carve nicely in decorative designs and pendants....and the big sizes are very affordable if you check with YY.....if you make opaque whites into cabs or beads, I don’t think it will be that saleable.

YY's outfit is pretty good. One of my livestream leaves had a crack so they offset it against my purchases after I sent them photo proof with the torch shining through the jadeite.

One of the donuts purchased on 27th they found a silk threadlike inclusion before being set. So I'm cancelling that too.

It's an inclusion but not surface reaching but unsure if it's a crack in the making haha.

It's just above the hole. Can you see it?

I have had the roughest day with me being sick and Pink Bandit being SUPER sick! I feel sooo bad for the kid. Trying to entertain him so I don't feel like a bad mother but it is rough! I went to the beach for 2 hours which was soooooo nice but I think soaking in the water is bad for my cold.

PS I always did direct transfer with J and she never complained about the bank fee on her end. Plus I got 5% off. All moot if she charges hundreds more though but if you ever buy from her again maybe consider direct transfer.

Afaik there is an option where if you transfer the recipient gets exact sun stipulated where you the sender absorbs bank charges. At least it works this way my end.

It's most vexing! I go through the entire transaction and they charge me my transfer fees and tell me the vendor gets (for eg) $500USD. Then the vendor's bank charges them some random amount so they will get $490! Grrrr

At any rate YY gets charged $200HKD per transaction so I know that now!

Yes. I was thinking that this morning as I pined for jadeite sitting by the fire.

How like the jade carvings.....

This is lovely. Good price. That line might be a reflection. Height of stone, looking at the setting, is no more than 3.5 mm? Also, it has water, so it will have a lovely glow to it in low light. I think all of this when I am buying. Oh, and is huge

There is a teeny tiny dot on the left. Colour looks not so even, so look at it in brighter plain light to see better.

Says it is gold and diamonds so wow, good price. But YY is good anyway. She tells you if it is zircon and metal; in any case, you can reset with them if it is.

I had to learn how to screenshot on my phone lol. Now I'm almost ready for the pendant. I want to stay under 1k USD but all the ones I like are more. I'm finding I have expensive taste in jade...

It has good water and is old mine jadeite definitely. Probably river jadeite long mined out.

Cheaper is because colour. It does not have enough green and I see both yellow and some blue within which may dull the green irl. Not a desirable colour for serious jadeite collectors not that I'm a snob but just saying.

The dot you see is more of a colour vein, which a lot of green jadeite will have. The literal translation from Chinese is actually colour root. Lowers the price if in prominent place or too much of it. Trade off, I think

Pair of red jadeite carved ruyi heads because ... Well...no excuse.


Tri coloured ruyi head in lavender, white and floating green. I'm curious to see the colour mix and it's a decent size and price.



Goddess of Mercy head for rmb50 which doesn't even cover the carving cost. But I want to show the jadeite carvers in Myanmar hhhhheeeeeeeyyyyyy this is how a decent Goddess of Mercy's face should be done!

The main leader. It appeared again today. It was small five figure price, donut at 32 mm, Muna mine, and it has a green veil floating on clear glass-like jade. So the entire donut was green but you could see the glass on it. Hard to describe. It was like the green colour floated under the glass jadeite. Very ethereal. Today when it appeared, she asked people viewing to queue up.
