There is a trade-off between price, colour, grain, translucency and of course, size or even thickness of material used. If you are looking at what you see on Wechat, that is usually more top dollar than bargain bin or livestream. Though there are occasional pieces.

So fine larger items, fine bangles or imperial green cabs not likely to appear on livestream.

There are other livestream jade sellers all over Facebook. Some limit new buyers to 3 items for first purchase and to pay up before continuing. Some require registration with the channel host. This is afterall involving roving sellers that make appointments with the broadcasters and are their own business owners. Not under the channel owner's employment. Reneging too much too often also spoils their relationship.

Number 3 has bangles too. More than 10 000 rmb, but they look finer and icier. I have seen a batch of icy ones with floating flowers @ number 3. All too huge for me. But at 30 000 rmb, they do look good. I prefer colour and translucency and fine texture though. I am at the moment not a floating flower person.

I'm not into floating flowers too though some glassy ones are very nice. But not my taste.

It does mean floating wealth 飘财/彩 though so used as such to appeal to Chinese buyers on the auspicious note :

It's like I wanted a single coloured cat if I ever wanted a cat before my cat came into my life because uniformity appeals. But I ended up with a rescue tabby cat and I think his stripes, spots, patterns suit his chameleon moods and character.

I did see one I liked a lot. Glassy. With bright green bits. But so £££££. And wrong size. This was with number 2. I think, number 3 has, for the moment, cheaper icy ones. All priced at mid 30 000 rmb.

I saw the dearest little crab (red with a yellow brown belly) for a few hundred rmb. I would so get it if I ever see that again. It was the cutest, most realistic little crab.

I got this this arvo too! 638rmb. Not the richest shade but at this price, who cares.

Plus a pair of light lavender hulus rmb 220 for earrings to match.

A jade Achille’s heel... lol, great expression! For me it is blue jade! Next is blue/lavender color, and beautiful beads. I love the pure, simple rounded shapes like beads, cabs and donuts. I used to be much more into bangles and bought too many early on. Maybe I should sell/give away some to make room for better ones in the future. For now, I am being very strict with buying, but man, those blues are very tempting!!!

Received my 2nd batch of stuff grin livestream today. Too tired to post much but the light brinjal lavender Buddha for my mum definitely exceeded expectations.

I was really worried it would be colourless but turns out it's quite the chameleon under various lighting conditions. It is a finer glutinous texture with decent grain and definitely has water.

I think same stuff less the price of gold findings (with diamond melees). The factories are all the same with different resellers. I checked taobao before I purchased from J to compare prices.

The material is frequent (white, none or less transluscent jadeite) so I was checking at least some transluscency when I bought from J. The price is for the carving rather than the material. I still think A jade....the softer kind in order to have been carved this way. Also since material is not fine jadeite, no need to insure stones when carving.
