I cannot thank you folks enough for the feedback when I was overwhelmed by this process and also for the absolute WEALTH of information available on these forums! I don’t have my ring yet but it’s officially ready and I pick it up Thursday. I would have never found a stone of this quality if left to my own devices
I know a super simple set solitaire stone in rose gold isn’t the worlds most exciting piece of jewelry but I just wanted to share because it’s even better than I was imagining!

Beautiful spinel! I love rose gold, too :-) In truth, I like simpler designs for everyday wear.

This turned out so well! I don’t see very many darker colored stones on ps, and I’m loving the purply tones. More pics!

It is brushed rose gold! I wanted something a little different and I loveeee the look of brushed rings. I was so torn on doing rose gold since it feels super trendy and not as timeless potentially, but with the colour of the stone it Was easily the best option to go with it!

I promise to update tomorrow with some hand shots once it’s finally on!

I love the look of brushed rose gold too. I think picking the color that pairs perfectly with your spinel is what makes it timeless. ;)2 I can’t wait to see those hand pics and congrats on your (almost) engagement!

These probably aren’t the best photos - they don’t do the stone justice at all. I was so scared it would set dark and black out but the darkest it goes is to a deep purple wine colour. It dances between that and a light grape and pink depending on the light. You can see a slight hint of brown if you really look for it but not nearly enough to make it appear dull. I’m even happier with it in person than I was when I saw the jewellers‘ photo! rather than start a new thread I thought I would just toss this in here - my band is done and ready for pickup. I’ll have both in the next week (hopefully since the wedding is next Friday ) and will be sure to post some photos of them together.
the open band looks like a HUGE space but I’m sure that’s because it’s such a closeup of the ring compared to reality ahah anyway I am obsessed and just needed to share it somewhere!
