Maybe a little wabi-sabi, but I like that.

Actually finished all my coursework for my degree this week, so looking at the ring reminds me that I am done!!

Wanted to add that I showed the ring to my dad, who is not at all into jewelry, and his response was, "Those look like little diamonds in there!" and my husband said, "They are!" and his face was pretty much like this:

but in a good way. Since I was attempting to sort of re-create a ring in a local B&M that was $1K more than what I spent on this project, he made the happy dad face at my "good decision making."

MonkeyPie, no, it is not the LOGR I originally was going to get. I decided on the split shank from jewe2004 on eBay instead. I''m glad I did--it''s a more delicate look.
