Spinel Stone- polishing??

So I have a spinel for an engagement ring so it's an everyday wear. I noticed yesterday that it's a little scuffed on one of the cut edges. Is there anyway to polish it or get it buffed out?? I'm not overly concerned since again it's an everyday ring and it is going to get banged around and I plan on upgrading the stone in a few years. But I'm getting married in August so it would be nice if I can get the scuff out for the up close ring pics

You can check with Dan Stair or Jerry Newman (see vendor list) and see what they advise. Sometimes a stone may have to be removed from the setting to be re-polished. Congrats on your upcoming wedding!

Ditto. If not for the upcoming wedding pictures, I would not repolish it until it looks pretty bad.
