Open to all thoughts before I pull the trigger!

Buying myself some starter diamond studs - planning to upgrade in the future. Is WF the best company to upgrade with?
 
These are both beautiful diamonds, and WF is one of the best companies to upgrade with due to having no minimum spend or color/clarity restrictions. If you wanted a closer match, you could try to find a pair that has more similar table sizes (although at this size the difference won't be too noticeable).

How about this pair? I've upgraded with WF twice already. Not sure if they're the best but they sure do make the process pleasant and convenient.

They’ll be a lovely wearable size.
 
WF has an excellent upgrade policy, so if you’re looking to upgrade it’s a good company to stick to. You could consider checking out their ES and PS selections as well, they’re a bit better value for money for earrings especially in the size range you’re looking at since the minor differences between an ES stone and an ACA stone will be unnoticeable at that size and the distance at which earrings are viewed, so your budget may stretch more since ES and PS stones are usually cheaper than ACA. And ES and PS are also eligible for upgrade I believe (but definitely check first)!

These are bigger and lower color, k, but I'm all for maximizing size. Slightly more too but wanted to share these. Whiteflash is a great vendor for upgrading studs. I'm upgraded myself and it is so smooth and painless!

I believe the sales rep told me that only the ACA were eligible for their upgrade policy?

OP, I have K ACAs and I don’t regret my choice. But I’m not color sensitive at all. By going down to a K I was able to get almost 1ctw

Maybe their inventory is low at the moment (I don’t actually know what’s normal for WF since I haven’t ordered from them before, just heard a lot about them and these collections on here) - perhaps just try speaking to an exec? If you’re seriously considering the Ks you might want to speak to them anyway to ask them to make a comparison video with some Is and Js to see if you can see a visible difference (I believe that they have been nice enough to do that in the past) so you can ask them to do that and also ask them what’s up with their ES and PS inventory.

Can’t wait to see them! This is exactly the size range I will be considering for my own upgradable starter pair!
 
Thank you for the recommendation to try K! They honestly look just as white as my colorless (but not nearly as well cut) engagement ring!

Ohhhh I just got .3 ACA studs this weekend too! I tip my hat off to you cause I could not for the life of me get a shot of them in my ear. They look spectacular on your ear!
