Step 1 - check!

YAY! I just got home - my BF and I went to church this morning, and grabbed some breakfast, and then went to his jewelers to size my finger! He got a chance to sit and chat with the store owner, and we LOVED the guy! A great little old man who SO values family and marriage - he asked my BF more than once if he would propose in or near the store so he could be there to see the look on my face when I see the ring for the first time. We looked at many of their pre-made pieces - they do SUCH amazing work!

Last night I was talking to my bff on the phone and he was texting her at the same time... she''s his little elf - helping him find the jeweler, helping plan the proposal - scoping out my druthers for him. She''s so SLY!!! She was all giddy when I was talking to her - she thought I was already engaged! Makes me wonder if he''s talking about his "timeline" to throw me off the scent... Hmmm

Anyway - I''m just all abuzz right now... YAY!

Thanks everyone!!! It''s really great to have somewhere to talk about it. I have both single and married friends - my single friends are kind of bitter - and my married friend think it is "so 2 years ago - just wait until you have kids and realize what the real world is about"... talk about a buzz kill. I have one good friend who is equally excited with me - and she lives 3 hours away, and is married with a new baby - she''s kinda busy.
