Still NO ring yet.... now he''s having fun with it!

Well, it didn''t happen over the weekend for me which I kind of expected. We were visiting his family 5 hrs away and I knew he would do it there and he didn''t....

Before we left, I was on the phone with my mom and said she should know where the Ring is hidden in case the house catches on fire and she has to come over and rescue it!!!

...so I put her on the phone with my BF and he told her to start guessing rooms, etc. so I guess she knows what room it was in now AND I''M NOT GOING TO ASK HER!!!

Last night, I was on the phone with my mom again and she got me going again by asking what the hell he is waiting for because he''s had it for almost 3 weeks. I told her he wants it to be a surprise or whatever...

So when I got off the phone, I started getting irritatated again that I don''t have it yet. Just at that time, he was making a martini and he said we needed to celebrate. I said, OK and got really nervous, "what are we celebrating" he said "4th of July" I thought to myself, are you kidding me? I''m going to kill you....

so OF course I thought that was the start of a PROPOSAL!!! I told him we have other things to celebrate, RIGHT??!!! and I held up my finger. He walked away and came back in a minute later with a very small white box. I nervously said "what''s that?" He opened it and it was an empty earrring box. After my heart started beating again, I told him to run because I was going to shove that box up his a$$!!!!

Anyway, it was kind of all in good fun for him..... but if he knows whats good for him, it better be this weekend!!! Or I''ll be fuming

oh my, that is so freakin MEAN. last year my bf gave me diamond earrings on my birthday on our cruise and said he *thought* about dropping to one knee to give them to me, b/c at that point we''d already started discussing marriage. I told him I would have just throttled him if he''d done that! I could say the same for your bf --- how on earth did you compose yourself when he did that??! I hope for you it''s next weekend (sounds like we are in a very similar "wait" situation) I''m sending you some sparkly vibes

IF MY GUY DID THAT TO ME, I WOULD NOT EVEN ACCEPT HIS PROPOSAL THAT IS IF IT EVER HAPPENS.

I THINK THAT IS MEAN, RUDE, DISTASTEFUL - WHATEVER YOU MAY WANT TO CALL IT. WHY WOULD YOU LET SOMEONE OR BETTER YET, WHY WOULD SOMEONE WHO LOVES YOU SCREW WITH YOUR EMOTIONS LIKE THAT?
