It''s the type of micropave that shows the least metal. There''s none on the top or bottom of the diamonds, unlike bright cut. Compare Irish Breakfast''s with Scarlet''s.
Can the diamonds scratch your e-ring prongs?

I vote bright cut for the DNA (Leon style, not the Michael B, since your stone is set nice and low) and because we already know it looks pretty.

Plus, it allows you to have a variety of all things Leon.

Minor threadjack alert: I'm actually waiting on a quote from Leon - do you happen to know what a bright cut micropave band would be? I sent an email Thurs and am getting antsy pantsy. calling is tough from work

Enablers!

Kcoursolle,
I''ll try on the Michael B. Good point about the height since my e-ring sits very low.

Miranda,
You''re right. Brightcut would be more practical, whereas mushroom-set would be more delicate. Please. Do. Not. Suggest. Four. Rings. :)

Okay, I looked and that is what I thought. Leon thinks the mushroom one is safe to wear with your e-ring? I feel safer having metal against metal, personally.

Harriet dear, I think you need four rings.

Heehee!

Did you post pics of your tsav someplace that I might have missed? You do have it, don''t you?

It was about $2000 back in January, so I imagine it might be a couple hundred more by now.

Thanks, DS2006

*Stamps foot*. Miss Harriet I won''t be able to see your TWO new wedding rings as I am in New York BEFORE your nuptials. Seeing as your fiance seems to be SO reasohable do you think he would let you ''pretend'' to be married for our photo shoot

Dunno. I don't mind if they do, as long as they scratch my centre stone.

Oops. I didn't mean to ignore your post. We have have been posting at the same time.

Leon has made the DNA mushroom-style (isn't that term funny?). Let me see if I can dig up a pic.

No, sorry, but I see DS has answered you.

P.S. I love your stone.

Sure he would. But this assumes that I get the rings by the time you come.

Dare I ask...Will you be posting pics??????

Only if Leon takes them.

Another vote for the micropave band as a wedding band and the DNA for a RHR or you can alternate them for the w-band. I love it that you''re asking Leon to adapt the DNA to make it even more delicate.

They''re both gorgeous!

Thanks. I like the idea of alternating wedding bands.

I''ve already told you this, but I LOVE the mushroom set pave band with your solitaire! I, however, do not at all like the mushroom set DNA band. Stick with the bright cut for that; it looks cleaner and more refined.

HMMMMM alternating wedding bands......alternating DH????

No. I'd like to be able to wear the DNA band singly (the micropave band is rather insubstantial on its own) in situations where I shouldn't be wearing my e-ring. I'd hate to lose the latter.

Me thinks you still need a little (or big) cushion. Just sayin'.

No likey the mushroom set DNA - just too much happening what with the twists and the notches. I'm with Scarlet on this one: mushroom the single band, bright cut on the DNA band.

Pixley dear, I'd love a cushion. Some day, I hope. As for the bands, I think I'm with you and Scarlet.

The micropave band is insubstantial on its own...but would be so lovely with some stacking bands in, say pink sapphires, perhaps...

. Maybe for down the line? I haven't heard anything about a b-day pressie yet...

The Tsavorite ring is supposed to be my birthday pressie, but it''s still not ready. Oh well, I''d rather Leon take his time and do a great job.

I took a look and fell in love with the simple band that was pictured. I think it is lovely and elegant. I like the idea of having multiple bands to change with your mood/outfit, but you only get married with one of them, so I would pick the simple one. I know you won''t tire of it and it will be just as lovely years from now too.

As for Tiffany NY - shame on them. It is amazing what some SAs might say. You did well to answer her so directly.

Thanks, Beacon.
