I heard on the radio this morning that some students (juniors at a high school in Oregon) had saved the life of their 67 year-old (male) math teacher. He had a heart attack right in front of the class while teaching. One girl said that at first she froze, then she realized she knew CPR, which she commenced using. Meanwhile a boy remembered a defibrillator on another floor of the school.
Apparently the teacher faces quadruple by-pass surgery, but is alive because of his young students.
Any details of the story that are wrong are my fault. I am writing this from memory!
