Suggestions for Chicago Eyecandy

Hubby and I are planning a trip to Chicago. Any suggestions for some must see Jewelry stores to go and visit?

There''s lots in the archive, here, so do a search. But, when I do this, I frequently retrieve recommendations to Dimendscassi on Wabash, where it''s suggested you need an appointment, and they have 8 stars. Here''s one such, where I also share a restaurant recommendation.

We just went to Chicago in May and had a wonderful time. I didn''t see any jewelry stores while we were there (wasn''t looking) but I had some fabulous popcorn at Garrett''s popcorn. Don''t use your cellphone or camera there, though, because you''ll get kicked out! Wierd, huh?

Also, if you''re a runner, running on Lake Shore Drive path is fabulous!!

I know that these tidbits of information are not exactly what you asked for, but I couldn''t resist. I love that city!

thanks s95. my hubby is from there so he already has a list of all the changes and places i must see. of course jewelery stores are on my list

starbucks has the same rules about no cameras

Is the starbucks thing real, or an urban myth? I just don''t get it. I guess I usually don''t have a reason to take a picture in Starbucks and I don''t really like their coffee anyway, so I try not to go there unless I have to, but I just think that''s really bizarre and a bit presumptious.

well, we went to starbucks before my wedding rehearsal and were taking pictures and they told us we were not allowed to take pics inside the store

we still go a few before getting in trouble
