I used the Coppertone light to medium self-tanner, and it made me look great. It gave me a better color than when I tan in the real sun... less red and more brown. Except for some that I got on my elbow. I also talked my husband into putting it on my back, which was a miracle.

Matatora - They probably did market research on it and decided that there wasn''t enough of a demand for the product in shades suitable for Asians and Hispanics. I don''t think it is racist, it''s a property of the market. Of course, I''m caucasion, and the product looks good on me, so of course that''s what I think. If I were asian, and the product looked bad on me, and they didn''t make it for asian skin tones, I would be pretty mad, too!!

You might could order some from overseas. My friend is from Bolivia, and she brings beauty products back here that don''t exist in the U.S.
Windy- I myself am quite pasty...typical blonde hair blue eyes combo. I just thought what was said was intreasing and a little odd. And I wondered if anyone had issues with that sort of thing. Oh and before you mentioned the back thing and not being able to get to it....have you tried the Neutrogena spray on? I am like that for my back...it you can keep and equal distance from your skin it looks spiffy and it is safe for your face as well. Best of luck.

No, I didn''t scrub my feet first. I''ll try that.

I put the Jergen''s on my face, and it did break it out. It was just too thick and heavy.

The Coppertone stuff did not break out my face, but it really made my contacts and eyes burn for days. What is a good product for the face? I like for my face to be tan so that it evens out the skin tone.
Banana Boat makes both sunscreens and bronzers especially for the face. I''ve used both, and never had any problems with breakouts or irritations. I don''t know if they have a self tanner for the face, but the bronzer works really well, and it''s waterproof so it doesn''t wash off if you go in the pool. The bronzer looks really dark when you put it on, but after you smooth it on it blends well into the skin and doesn''t look fakey or anything. I''ve even used blush with it on my cheeks and it really looks good, I think.

Well, I bought the Jergens in Fair after MMM recommended it to me! Today is day 4 and so far I like it! I''m really pasty normally, and I''ve already noticed a slightly darker "glow" developing! I love it, though after reading all these posts on how hard it is to find, I''m kinda nervous and I''ll be going out to buy more bottles tomorrow. I got it earlier this week at Target, they had just restocked, so it was easy to find. I remember, however, there were about 3 or 4 other women crowding around me while I was bending over to read the directions, they were trying to get in on it too! So I bet they are sold out by now. I''m prepared to scout the neighborhood and see what I come up with!! But I like it. The only problem is that I can''t use it on my face, WAY too thick and creamy. THe first night I put it on and the next morning I had a big red zit on my chin! My skin is real sensitive and thin on my face, so I still need to find a light self-tanner for that. I was thinking about trying the clinique stuff for the face, but I''m aprehensive to spend so much money for something that probably won''t work

So who knows how to get this stuff off...help!

What?! you want to get rid of it?

Ok.... well, I guess I would say just keep showering (should''nt be a problem I''m sure!) and use a regular moisturizer or lotion after showering instead of the tanning stuff. It will probably take or week or so to get rid of.
Hopefully you''ll be back to white in no time!!

It doesn''t really come off. But if you stop applying it, and keep exfoliating really well every time you shower, it will fade quickly. That''s one of the charactaristics of the sunless tanner lotions. They don''t last long if you don''t apply them on a regular basis. Keep moisturizing with your normal moisterizer, though...all that showering and exfoliating will probably be drying to your skin.
